may i know where to get xzs rm14XX?

Hello, just dropping by as I was looking at Sony XA models, didn't realise it's MeditaTek otherwise it's looking quite sexy.

Also, I am quite surprised at number of Sony users! Just wondering, what made you all choose Sony over other flagship models in the market? Sony isn't cheap either, but their mobile industries seem to be shrinking as compared to others, no offense intended to the fans, just being curious, that's all.

After updated to Oreo , the finerprint sensor still doesnt work well on my xzs . Should i try software repair ? I just updated and format my phone . Will software repair solve the fingerprint issue ? Or it will be the same ? Coz i lazy to wait and perform the software repair again . When i unlocked my phone with fingerprint , i failed most of the time , i was prompted to unlock the phone with PIN instead . This is kinda annoying . I have this problem since Nougat ... Is it hardware faulty ? My finer isn't oily and the sensor isnt dirty either.

for me, i prefer square phones. purely personal taste
also the cleaner look of the front. i don't like a home/fingerprint button on the front. back then the Z1/Z2 look is my favorite whereby the front is all glass only. no speaker, no home button whatsoever.

spec wise.... i always tot that flagship smartphone is more or less at a very mature state. there are actually little difference in performance for common user.

software wise i also like it simple and easy. also i consider it to be quite stable. my wife is using iphone and my parents are using note series. they are light user. only messaging, taking photo and fb, ig,... but they encounter more weird problem than me TBH

how is your gps performance?

I have tested my xz along with a lenovo p2, iphone 7 and huawei m9 and my phone is the worst to lock the location even under open area.

Re enroll your fingerprint.

After register and deleted the fingerprints for few time, it's still the same....

After resetting and repair software , the fingerprint issue still there . Is it hardware failure ?

Try with another person.
Some peoples finger print got problem even with epf machine.

Need to wait how long ya usually? Last time my I waited up to one month to get back my Xperia z due to battery problem under warranty that time...

My XZ warranty took 3weeks.
My previous Z3 took 2.5weeks.

XZ the charger pin broken and stuck inside the port.

Just found out the culprit . I was using screen lock app all this while . The apps has greater 'privilege' than xperia fingerprint scanner . So , when I lock the phone with the apps , I can only unlock it with PIN . But , if I lock the phone using the physical button , than I can only unlock the phone using the fingerprint scanner . After disable the apps , the fingerprint works like charm , quite fast and accurate even I am using my phone with case .
