LOL, that thing already start on sale since day 1 in Malaysia. It costs RM159 if I remembered correctly.
I bought it, find it not that convenient as Z3 and older years. However, good thing is that it doesn't hurt the charging port very much, since you can slip it in smoothly as there's no clip locking the charging port.

There is some way to remove bloatware for 6.0 with dirty cow. 7.0+ is no, and latest dec security alr fixed the dirty cow.

Yesterday, i feel some heat while use the phone since morning till battery die @0%.. This is first time happen since i bought this phone.

This morning, back to normal already. Yesterday do many update on apps n playaround the phone without clear all recent task..

if you use facebook app, then the app is the culprit. everyone is affected as well, regardless of brand.

I noticed that after I apply the back skin to the aluminum the warm feeling during usage is easily feel. guess it prohibit the heat dissipation.

feel like want to remove the back skin later.

nothing to do with Android. it's the app itself trying to 'manifest' something.

been using for months, last night 1st time drains 30% overnight, went to sleep with 50%, woke up with 19%, phone felt warm, the strange thing is, the time and date settings all lari after restarted, weird AF

This strange issue could be bugs on nougat. And i guess ur phone running on nougat too. I've read some complaint on sony forum about this issue too.. Time n date reset after restart the phone..

Come on ler sony.. This tiny2 bugs should not exist anymore on ur flagship phone der..

this might be a good news. plus, LG's OLED panel is well received.
however, waiting for 2018 is too long.

i think not nougat issue.. my xperia z5 premium and other phones also heat up and feel warm all the time on last 2 days.. afternoon onward until night time.. battery drained fast until i turned off my phone and use some water to cool it down first before i charge my phone..
