baru saw gen-x update about this few days ago
last time used to all-in when it's more than 3%

Now only 2.5% with at least 5k and must select 1 mth tenure to gain the daily interest.

consider attractive for ppl like me that doesn't like to be locked down by FD's period

You mean premature withdrawal is now allowed, regardless of amount?

If you have money >20k, UOB E-Account > GIA

UOB E-Account:
>20k - 3.0%
>50k - 3.5%

GIA
2.5% - but can put low amount like 5k

Still get 3.18% iinm pretty good

Well, it depends whether how much money you have to put into it. If u have a few k, then its not worth the trouble.

For me, which I hit above 50k mark, I am getting 3.5% on a SAVINGS accounts. That alone outweights the few extra dollars on potential fees.

3rd party transfer and GIRO is FREE. That what matters to me the most. I dont need to use ATM withdrawal at all, I can do it with my other banks.
