I told them send to my home address, they say ok, but need me at home and this and that, then end up I say I go pickup at branch better..then from that day, besides renewal card, all new application card I go branch pickup by myself...

Hi guys, I noticed that i could not pay the exact amount specified on the statement balance after received the cashback amount on the 1st of the month and posted on the account on 2nd of the month.

Example:
Statement Balance : RM 250
Cashback : RM 12.5
Outstanding Balance : RM 237.50

I can only pay 237.50 instead of RM 250.

I remember that some other bank like CIMB cannot use cashback amount to offset the statement balance. So if let's say i used the card to buy something, should i "top up" the payment amount?

Example:
Pay back RM 12.50 after buy something exceed RM 12.50 to meet the statement balance amount RM 250.

Maybank treats cash bank as payment or advanced payment.
It'll offset the card outstanding or statement balance.

Under Account Details for the card, cash back amount will be shown as "Last payment amount".

Maybank2U also doesn't allow overpayment.
You can only overpay using CDM or Interbank Fund Transfer.

So whatever statement balance can be offset by cashback? Well thats good because everytime got cashback and didnt so any transc for new month cycle dont know how to pay statement balance before deduct caahback
