Well, it's just one card. Anyway, it also depends how often you use Petronas. If not often, then no need to apply.

Petrol cash back cards may no longer relevant to me because I'm selling off my car as it's really underutilized. I take Grab/Uber or public transport in KL because I don't drive here plus I'm always not in the country. Wasted only to pay installment every month. Looks like my Ikhwan will be used for groceries and won't be able to waive my VS' AF.

You can read from the receipt itself.

Just sharing. Was trying to pump petrol using MC ikhwan yesterday and tried 5 attempts at 3 petrol station and all was declined.

Then tried calling customer service immediately but until now still cannot get through. Anyone faced such and incident before? Is there a protection mechanism in the system which would block the card usage after failed attempts?

And the toll free customer service line is impossible to get through. Is there any way to check on the card's status?

Yesterday afternoon Maybank network is down. It affects most of their CC system.

From Maybank website, I can't seem to check when is my statement date only the amount (I'm using petronas ikhwan card). Any idea where I can check them? Dunno when to pay now.

if yes, wait for 1st bill to generate. the letter that comes with the card should state the bill date also. no need rush to pay! just wait for the statement to come, then pay accordingly by the stated due date.

if no, check Account Details page.

Hardcopy letter or softcopy letter?

of course hardcopy letter/leaflet where the card is sticked onto.

it shows u the name, nric, credit limit. I'm not sure about statement date, can't remember.

how come u don't know about the letter? you got the card without anything?

Letter doesn't have statement date. At least I don't recall for any of Maybank cards or any other banks' cards... Or I was really ignorant and didn't notice it.
