Managed to get the details at M2U classic. Transaction got captured as 31 Jul and posted on 1 Aug. In this case, still get the CB from the August quota, correct?

the MY means the merchant's country of registration (as visa/mc merchant) only.

payment processor/gateway can be located from any country/timezone.

the txn is the one actually doing the "traveling" until it gets posted by issuer (Maybank)

Own meaning one shot etiqa only will eligible? Monthly premium won’t be counted?

How about Netflix and Spotify with monthly subscription

Auto/direct debit is not online.
Normally online transactions will go through verification, mostly with OTP, or other verification methods.

If you pay to Etiqa, you key in the card details, immediately you get OTP verification, it is online. (Initialled by the cardholder)
If you give card details online, Etiqa can charge anytime using direct debit, it is not online. (Initialled by the merchant)

Same to Netflix and Spotify, you need to find out yourself. I am not the user.

(1) Maybank/ Maybank Islamic don't give cashback to E-wallet transactions including Setel E-wallet.

(2) Maybank Islamic Ikhwan Petronas Visa gives 8% to Petronas (PS/PSS), BUT Setel IS NOT Petronas!

You may use Ikhwan MasterCard for Setel CardTerus at Petronas stations for Petrol CB.
