Just found that Ikhwan Amex doesn't give 8% cashback when making into an instalment.

To remind everyone that,
Ikhwan Amex doesn't work like conventional AMEX

I did a RM1500+ instalment via Etiqa online (Maybank EzyPay) and received zero cashback
I'm still dealing with Maybank at this moment
Some Maybank CS said I can get cashback and some maybank CS said I cant
Please wish me luck

For Conventional Amex, you get 5% cashback when you make payment on weekend, included installment

For example, you spent RM800 on weekend and selected EzyPay, you still got RM40 cashback

I got my Amex Platinum in early March and spent in March and April.

There was no cash back yet in mid-March or April, expecting it in mid-May.

So far, I spent 800+. For both of these months, I can qualify for the RM100 cash back for Ramadan and Syawal, right?

Means i have another 2 days to max it out till RM1250? Or i have until mid-May to hit the max amount?

Or since my cash back is out in mid-May, I'm not qualified for the double cash back?

Question: Does Maybank 2 Gold - VISA & AMEX comes with auto overseases transaction? Cause I tried logging into M2U Website and I do not see any option whereby I can activate overseas transaction. Need help.

EDIT: Called MBB CS, they said it will automatically be activated when spending/ transacting. Only Debit card needs to be activated via M2U website but CC no need.

If i have remaining cashback in my cc and i want to cancel it, will they refund / transfer it to my savings acc?

no, crediting is to the card that EARNED the cashback. your CASA didnt do anything smile.gif

perhaps you can postpone the cancellation (if possible) OR requst a dispute/request to CS after card is canceled (up to their discretion).
