Hi all, any tips on how you guys manage to apply ikhwan amex cc online and get approved so fast? I thought salary bank in MBB acc and have other mbb CC would be easier to get approved online but i was wrong, kena rejected online and even email as well. Should I just wait another 3 months until next application?

6 months. or request to split credit limit from your other mbb card.

I am using the mobile app to pay and able to get back the cashback for 2 months consecutively now.

Agoda mcm cannot use Amex as payment method ady.

Not too sure, i spent on Agoda on 22/04 with Amex, it is still work.

Recently visited MBB CC branch to enquire about Ikhwan and they highly recommend the Mastercard over AMEX as the benefits is much better. I have yet to apply yet because I am thinking of cancelling my Maybank 2 Gold by mid of the year only to apply for this card. Which one is better so far? Master or AMEX?

No need to cancel and apply.
Just need to submit conversion form, your Maybank CC (Gold) /CL will be converted to Maybank Islamic CC (Gold - Visa/Mastercard) /CL. Your Maybank CC will be automatically terminated once you receive Maybank Islamic CC.

You can have Ikhwan Visa - Petronas 8% Sat/Sun, Ikhwan Mastercard - Petrol & Groceries 5% Fri/Sat AND Ikhwan Amex - Online 8%. 3 cards share the same Maybank Islamic credit limit.

You may be required to submit your latest income documents to apply for Ikhwan Amex Platinum. The income requirement is higher than M2 Gold.

If you already have the M2C Amex then the Mastercard is somewhat redundant.

M2C's MasterCard doesn't give cashback like Ikhwan MC for petrol and groceries on Fri and Sat right?

Nope M2C Mastercard doesn’t have any benefit apart from getting treat points, which is also why many members wanted to cancel it, just keeping the Amex.

I see, then this is not possible for new users now. Back then Maybank allowed to cancel the Visa/MC (I think was during the RM25 SST intro time).

Is it possible to keep my Maybank 2 Gold - Amex and cancel my Visa card while apply for the Ikhwan Platinum Mastercard? I am aware of the minimum annual income requirement. Looking at the benefits of the Ikhwan AMEX Platinum, it is not suitable for me as I do not shop online often as I more prefer for petrol and grocery.

Not possible at the moment. This means you have to fork out RM50 for card sst every year. But it is well worth it if you are able to utilise the RM50 cash back every month.

MasterCard-i: you need to pump petrol & buy groceries on Friday or Saturday. You save 5% only.

Amex-i: Buy Petronas/Shell voucher at Lazada, 8% online CB, pump petrol any day (not limited to Fri/Sat/Sun), before the e- petrol voucher expires.
Pay utilities bills (including mobile postpaid, top up prepaid, water, IWK, except TNB/Maxis) at Lazada/Shopee to get 8% online CB.

Enjoy it while it lasts, not for long term: Buy TNG PIN RM10/50/100 at Lazada App, then top up TNG wallet App, then use TNG wallet / TNG Prepaid Visa to pay at Duitnow QR merchants / the places accept Visa (including Petrol stations, Supermarkets, TNB etc and toll if using TNG pay direct). 8% Savings (Online CB)

Is lazada implement limit to buy tng pin already? Can only get 5x rm50 pin

There is no limit. I could check out 9 x RM 100 just now.
