XT is good bro and the mounting mechanism is excellent biggrin.gif The EK Supreme HF is quite primitive that you have to screw one by one, lol.

now that you've mentioned it, i see some not-so-good reviews at amazon, but reviews on newegg are pretty good though hmm.gif

what's the cheapest setup that i can get for custom WC? tongue.gif
*
If you have a budget and even as low as RM700, I can think of something for you smile.gif Fully customized water cooling kits which is a lot better than the product you're looking for. Obviously if you have a higher budget, I can recommend you better parts. What's important is that you get the parts which are value for money because expensive parts doesn't always mean it'll give you the value for money smile.gif

That's what I can tell you with my 10 years of water cooling experience laugh.gif

QUOTE(MaxK @ May 30 2010, 02:35 PM)
just buy a EK LT WB...
vry bad quality for the screw!!!

maybe wana "buang" it, buy a XT for my rig....
*
You're not the only one and so far on my side, there are plenty of problematic EK products. In RR Tech and XtremeSystems, you can see people whining about it laugh.gif It explains why EK is normally cheaper, most likely due to lower costs in QC and I've brought this up with Eddy long time back. I'm not sure what's been done though.

QUOTE(kevink82 @ May 30 2010, 06:28 PM)
sorry to tell u the xt quality aint all that great as well, some pins inside the block broken, poor finish on outer surface r common ones.

all in all i think u r expecting a little too much i find ek products quality to be acceptable, not the greatest but acceptable.
*
I can assure you that Swiftech products are a lot better in QC. There's always a failure rate in every product, even Ferrari cars would fail and for Swiftech, the rate is considered very very low. You would be surprised how many people talked about problematic EK 250's and the LT water blocks as compared to problematic Swiftech made products. Besides if it's some broken fins inside the block, you still can use it and the effect might not be critical but if you're talking about the inlet/outlet threads going off, leaking, screws missing or not going in, that's a lot worse.

EK is innovative but they lack QC, that's what I can see smile.gif

I'm just speaking the truth and facts, I'm not someone that likes to make things up so please don't get me wrong smile.gif My own EK250 has minor problems when I got it last time. I know you're new to this EK thingy but such problems have existed years ago when EK first started but back then EK wasn't so popular as it is today. EK have a huge variety of products today as compared to before, they really expanded their lines of water blocks which is a good thing.

If you want a good quality product example, Bitspower is one of them (which you're also selling) smile.gif Send my regards to Vincent rolleyes.gif

wonder why u r so persistent asking me for discount for the EK product u bought from me...hmm.gif...didnt u warn ur customer back then...
*
Excellent! I've always wanted to discuss about this part smile.gif Now the reason is simple:

1. Only EK has full blocks for certain motherboards, customers have no choice and if they do, of course I would share with them.
2. Eddy suggested that I should give you a chance because you're the distributor for their products in Malaysia. As a gentleman, I did smile.gif
3. I only bought a few pieces of products from you due to reason (2), far below the quantity I normally go for from my other sources.
4. Support and follow up wasn't good for problems encountered from the purchase hence I decided not to pursue with Malaysian distributor anymore. Either I move to other brands or stop selling, I don't mind.

I hope this explains but then again, we are gentle businessman rolleyes.gif Which rep from which company that I do not know? You have your way of doing it, I respect it but as a distributor, you should know the responsibilities are also heavier. That said, I need 1 screw for a brand new EK Supreme LT which is not working. Please let me know how I can request it from you (the distributor for EK Malaysia).

like i said bro...u r a funny funny man bro...

If you want solid proof, I can provide it to you smile.gif Like I said, I don't make stories, it's not my style and denying doesn't change the fact. Truth would always prevail. Eddy knows about it of course and he sent me the replacements. Thanks for your concern and now, you have a chance to help. The screws for one of the brand new EK Supreme LT is not going in. How can I obtain a replacement please?

It's alright, Eddy sorted it out for me, he sent replacements via Express shipping smile.gif As for now, I only need the screws for EK Supreme LT, maybe I can PM you instead of terrorizing this topic with our RMA issues.

What is your email? smile.gif Let me reply to that mail together with Eddy. Maybe you like to false claim (and think everyone would also do that) but like I said, I don't make up stories. Please be professional in handling issues like these, there's no point for me to make up a story for a few hundred Ringgit product. It's not a lot of money anyway smile.gif

The reseller (me) and the owner of the block knows best what happens. I really cannot believe you responded in such an unprofessional manner, I've never met someone doing business with replies like yours, at least if we're talking about distributors of an international product rolleyes.gif

point 4. bro...never receive your mail or pm on any issues..to those who have mail or at least pml me on any claim, they are living proff how we backed EK, (Eddy have these claims too, i make sure of it). I have proff of those, so please resend me any claim that u may have, either here sales@pp-tek.com or call 03 7845 1424...contact detail can be attain here www.pp-tek.com.

You know I only deal with Ezzy and not yourself so the way you're saying it is as if Ezzy did not bring this up to your attention? smile.gif That's a very serious and damaging remark and I believe he would definitely have told you about it (which is what I understand about it too). If there's a breakdown in communication on your end, maybe you can think of a better method to ensure information is being passed across correctly in future.

sorry bro...I never said anything about ezzy, and never drag him into this.
like i said bro, please understand, we are commited with representing EK here, so we take highly of any claims or issue with EK products which we sold.
if you claim this and that with no recollection on anything solid is not helping at all. so let us help u and send me that email. you already have my contacts.
*
1. I'm not dragging him into this but I COD with him so I told him the screws were missing (or any problems encountered) and ask for his help. Fair statement? smile.gif
2. If you deal with my sub-ordinate and have a problem, you tell him and he should resolve it and if he can't, he should escalate to me. Fair statement? smile.gif

I'm not sure what happened in between but I did follow up a few times until the point where I gave up and contacted Eddy directly. It's a simple thing but it took more than a month to resolve, not a very pleasant experience.

yes bro..but i'd pm'ed u for the address of your customer and u never reply me...so i thought since u bought the block from me to sell it to him, i reckoned u were insecure of releasing your customer detail to me...fair i suppose..but without disclosing ur customer info to me, ur customer suffer..instead
*
I did not get the PM and there's no reason why I need to keep it top secret. I only know I have SMS-ed many times with no positive replies so at last I resorted to asking Eddy for help. I gave him the customer's address and Eddy sent it out. As such, I do not have such insecure feelings because if I do, I wouldn't give it to Eddy either.

eddy is ur supplier bro...we're sumething else..like i said bro, any problems with the EK product i'd sold get back to me and with all the detail info...no sms and no pm after my request for the address...we are the distributor, the block was from us, we represent EK here with pride and tonnes of investments, why would u think i would sabotage my own business ... that doesnt make any sense..
*
Like I've mentioned, I have informed your company representative about it smile.gif Maybe he was busy so after a few times asking, I looked for Eddy directly because it was urgently needed. I don't want to be a irresponsible person so even a single screw, I will make sure he gets it back because he paid for it.

Nice setup there Kevin biggrin.gif I think you can try Aquagrafx, sold a couple and everyone's happy with it. You won't go wrong with the German made block. You're correct there, EK really needs to fix all these problems with their blocks fast. More and more people are complaining about them in RRTech and XS.
