If you want a cheap and good solution, Arctic F12 is a good choice. It's on Fluid Dynamic (FDB) bearing, high static pressure and silent. I had 3 of them on my MCR-320, gives about the same temp as I'm running on Typhoons but maybe 1-2C lesser at times. However price wise, it's cheaper by 1 fold.
If you want a high class fan that is reputable and recommended everywhere then the Scythe Gentle Typhoon/S-Flex is your option. To be honest, the Tribework really isn't worth the price (unless you have too much money) There's a reason why I only sell certain products because I do my research, test it out and make sure it's a value for money product. When we buy/sell something, we don't just grab whatever is expensive because expensive things doesn't necessarily means it's always worth it in terms of value VS performance. |

I think it would be best for you to buy some radiators and test it out yourself. Perhaps you will understand what I'm talking about

QUOTE(ezzydamvp @ Jul 2 2010, 04:00 PM) this is customer request and has it own purpose so cant expect much on the cpu temp as the 280 rad itself cover all 3 major parts on the cpu Actually it's a good setup and what I'm trying to say is our focus should be load temps, not idle overall i tink the 280 push pull is not bad at all la. u all know rite i7 4.2ghz is hot. yup stock cooler MIGHT get such idle temps in a cool room but how about the load on 4.2 hehe... Ezzy can become qualified WC installer nowadays |

QUOTE(metsatsu @ Jul 3 2010, 12:44 AM) no shit? time to think of something hehe Some people make it sounds like WC is here for the first year but in fact it's been around for so long, long enough that most people are already bored of it and tried all sorts of things with it btw, I'm really starting hate Alvin now. that guy tricked me into buying 3x 110cfm scythe fans + feser quad rad. now my rig is a hurricane!!! it's the noisiest piece of mother o f@ck ever. omfg Many things have been proven over the years and re-proving them again is pointless If you think the fans are noisy then I have a remedy for you This post has been edited by clawhammer: Jul 3 2010, 01:27 AM |

QUOTE(vladtheimpaler @ Jul 3 2010, 05:46 PM) hiaya, alvin, very unethical... Thanks for trying to be a hero but I don't see any fault in that FYI i'm pretty sure u r wrong, and u owe the guy an apology...unless u r pretty sure u r too proud to seek one.. This is not a sales thread so I'm commenting from a forummer's capacity and not as a seller. You need to learn how to segregate that. If I jokingly say to my friend that he always asks but never buy, I have to apologize? Sindir sikit pon tak boleh? This post has been edited by clawhammer: Jul 3 2010, 06:30 PM |

QUOTE(supernothing @ Jul 3 2010, 07:54 PM) seriously dude, get a clue. even i was agitated with that comment. i'm saying this as a friend first, then as a customer Why do you feel agitated when I'm not commenting on you? Like I said, this is not a sales thread and if you don't like it, you should feel sorry for yourself Let's go back to the topic. This post has been edited by clawhammer: Jul 3 2010, 11:05 PM |
