I changed from a Nirox to Swiftech MCP655 and to be honest, you can save a lot and still live with the cheap Nirox. It's not that the MCP655 gives any substantial differences in my small loop

The Nirox is 10 times cheaper than the MCP655 and that can be a very good choice if you don't mind that extra AC wire

Anyone use bow type of apogee gt..? I wan to know how it perform.. idle and load value.. Just change the o - ring..?

I'm using the bowed version but I've never owned any other blocks so don't know what type of difference it gives Moreover, my E8200 has a damaged temp sensor.

Thanks.. quite impressive.. Do u bowed yours? Im thinking of bowing it but it cant revert back to flat.. But still thinking will it have any prob with any other socket if i already bow it..?

i bowed mine... yup, once its bowed, cannot go back... i think it wont affect other socket la... should just improve the cooling capabilities or decreased mayb... ? but i think most of us will get at least 1c improvement or more rather than decreament...

I think i will bow mine.. Hope can get it done without hassle.. From the review, we need to apply grease but certain say it would be a prob without grease..

I bought mine from Metalzone and he did it for me I guess you can refer to him if you need help.

i done without grease, keep pushing the larger o-ring into the acetel there and fast enough to tighten the screw as what metalzone guided in the review...

i use the hydrix, temp drop about 5c.. after that it increase about 7 c.. i think better stick with ionized water..

or a car aircond radiator, kancil is quite alrite, compact lil thing, but from what i saw, it was a quad pass rad, so its quite restrictive

Or those APM aircond rad (rm170++ or so), with a lil modding you can mount it on your sidepanel

Huh??? Distilled water is better than mix wit coolant??? Bcuz mine rite now i m using battery water mix wit Hydrx... Looks nice when it glows...

Coolant are nice for the looks.. tht's y i use it... distilled water is the best element for heat transfer since it has ntg else inside....
