Update on my watercooling thing. Still looking for a nice container for my home-made "koolance" hehe.
Changed the puny Alphacool reservoir to a home made one. Fan grille and shroud are temporarily attached with cellophane tape. Will fix this later. Added a 90 degree pipe fitting to ease the pressure on the pump. Changed the CPU block to TDX. Added a Maze4 GPU block. The UV light shows up as blue for some reason... It's actually purple. As it stands for now. This post has been edited by shreaker: Nov 15 2004, 02:16 AM |

Radiator. The fin thinness is incredible. So be careful handling it. It will bend real easy.
Whole setup in my cramp case Wow nice glow. There is another Led in the pump/reservoir. Barely visible glow The whole thing Don't mind the picks kinda bad =] Note to self BUY or borrow a real camera! Edit: damn thumb nails still there. thanks shreaker for the pm tip Enjoy. This post has been edited by jujuzombie: Dec 10 2004, 05:30 PM |

QUOTE(spacer @ Dec 25 2004, 06:56 PM) I explain based on my water systemhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v626/kuc...er/IMAG0001.jpg hmmm... bout the pricing... let me see.... the case for the water reservoir is around RM 30-40 ( because its acrylic.. but some can opt to use tupperwares or even brake fluid container.. ) ... the 12cm fan is about RM 28 at pasar road.. water pump is about rm 32 at pasar road... ( i'm sure a smaller pump will do that cost around rm 15) radiator is free cuz i took it from my car...( its the heater ) but if u want cheap radiators try go to any kedai potong kereta... i'm sure u can get nice ones for very cheap prices... after all who needs heater in malaysia ? the tubing is about RM 3 for 3 meters... and of coz... last but not least the water block... which cost around rm 150 at Overclockers Paradise... but i was in a hurry at that time .... didnt have time to look for other shops... but i think there are water blocks that are cheaper than that.... hmm i tried the net and i found one online store selling it for as low as 18 bucks that is about RM 60- RM 70.. I think overall it is about Rm 230-RM240 including the acrylic reservoir... |
