Some preliminary shots of my new water system, screenshots and shot of complete loop to come later.
Review: Both the TDX and Maze4 GPU block has a pretty smooth and even base. Needs no lapping unlike my previous RBX. Estimated grit is around 600-800 grits. Very nice and clean. The INSIDE of the TDX is very shiny as well, in fact I've yet to see a block with the innards as shiny as the TDX. Unlike the RBX the base of the TDX now touches the 4 "core-protector" (I just cant remember the word!) and needs no additional ones placed on the sides to prevent the core from getting crushed. Both performs well, and when placed together in a loop w/ a P2800 Nirox (Hydor L20 clone) along with a bulkhy's custom rad, temperature of the CPU is only around 47c full load Folding @ 2600mhz/1.85vcore(bios), 31c ambient. GPU core increased from 390mhz with stock heatsink to 440MHz core w/ slight unnoticable artifacts. TDX is using the default accelerator plates and from the looks of it, the RBX plates should fit nicely. |

Hie there, newbie here and hope to learn more here..anyway here's my bong (evaporative) setup. I know it won't work that efficient in hot and humid weather here in malaysia but still giving it a try as i'm quite out of budget for a heatercore/radiator for the time being. Anyway here's the spec and pictures:
CPU: AMD Barton 2500+ Clock Speed: 2.3gig (200X11.5) RAM: 256 X 2 hynix d43 module Waterblock: DangerDen RBX Voltage : 2V Temp (idle) CPU: 45 Case:33 Temp (load) CPU: 52 Case:35 Still looking for highest possible overclock and haven't relli mess with the ram yet. Attached thumbnail(s)

My Alphacool Basic 120 kit... with 2 NMB 12cm fans from AllnGap. Just arrived today!
1. The neXXos SP CPU block. Looks nice, although it's the bottom of the range. 2. The Hydor L20 pump and Cape reservoir. The reservoir doesn't hold much water and the pump might not be able to take it when I add a VGA and chipset block later... 3. The Black Ice Pro Radiator and two NMB 12cm fans I just received from AllnGap today. Looks a little like some kind of engine 4. Another pic of the radiator. It's sideways. The tubing tips the reservoir at an angle when I put the res upright (not enough room in my casing laaa...) 5. The entire setup. 6. Another pic. That's the 12cm fan that came with the alphacool kit in the background. 7. Purring along happily... Ms. Bellucci seems impressed... This post has been edited by shreaker: Sep 25 2004, 05:47 PM |

Just finished one fan shroud. To tired to make the other one. It's made of aluminium. I kinda like it... will finish the other one and maybe spray it black next weekend...
Changed the fan to vnoob's evercools to test... I think I prefer the NMB's due to the speed control... |
