guys....
i dont see my result is good la.
running in 30c ambient,

3.825GHz
idle:48c,47c,42c,41c
load:70c,68c,64c,61c

consider good?
btw,my setup is
Swiftech Apogee GT Bowed
Swiftech MCP-655-B
Swiftech Micro-reservoir
CoolTrek DP1202 with 2 0.32A fan
HKS coolant mixed with diamond water

is it a good result or B.A.D?

its normal la i think... extremesystem test using apogee gt also few celcius lower only on their heavily OC'ed Quad Core... u can go search around for tht in extremesystems... or vr-zone's apogee gt review.. WC actually not really much improve over high end air coolers, i guess its apogee gt limits, if wan really good temps, i think d-tek fuzion + nozzle kit the best... but gotto sacrifice overall loop flow as the nozzle kit makes the cpu block restrictive...

1 thing u can notice using WC, temp drops after full loads are fast, not like air coolers...

amdhardcore, congratulation finally got ur nightmare over hehe......

but some how i felt that ur system is better without the casing hehe....all ur things so dangerously place.

anyway what is the brass/copper tube for ?

Ace, ur temp is quite ok and resoanable, u dun expected the temp to go down a lot, but i believe it will maintain about the same even u go to 4ghz. may be u can try to get some more cold air to ur rad, u could see a few more degree difference.

Firstly Apa voltage u running... tehn some pics on ur setup , mainly ur loop to see how the loop placement is...

but ur HKS coolant and diamond water... throw it away before u damage ur pump or ur res... use swiftek hydrx for cheap coolant solutuion.. RM 25 per bottle.. mix with 1 L distilled... whih is one bottel of batery water ( make sure its the distlilled version)

about ur temps... im preety sure ur orientation of ur block is wrong and also ur waterloop must have loads of bubles man... from using diamond water ( which is mineral water or tap water. ) trust me i ran that before.. loads of foamy water...

then ur voltage.. wats the voltage...

also is ur swiftech apogee orientated right? teh block to the barbs direction...

the effects i think is minimal, it wont damage any circuits by the pump...

u know when u put a magnet through a coil of wire will generate some current rite?... high performance pump can generate lots of electromagnetic wave and then passes through ur electronics... guess wat will happen...? smile.gif

i guess current generated might not heavy enough to kill of ur hardware, else others from other country or people like me who using water cooling for years now already suffering.. as long as the pump are not super strong, it wont affect much... if u worry, just place the pump to the other side of case and move ur hdd to top...

something to add on, even fans also generating electromagnetic waves, so i guess as long as the pump doesnt generate high electromagnetic waves, u would safe to use... D5 actually not considering high performance, if u compare it to those idwaki or other real industrial heavy pump...

Yeah its not really harmful... but to ur HDD becareful ... HDD is very sensitive... Fans very low wattage therefore generating minimal electromagnetic wave..
