nise setup rzs77..
are ur flow is pump>rad>cpu>res>pump ? what that i heard the hot water must go to rad 1st before going into pump to prevent long term pump damage?...but i have seen lots of same setup like rzs77 doing, so the water get cool before it go inside the cpu..for perfomance. so wc taiko might give some comment for this matter.. thx.. |

it doesnt matter which one comes first as long as the reservoir is 1 step before pump .
so that the pump get a clean flow of water without bubble . that's what i know la . cause mine oso like that . res>pump>rad>CPU block anyway, how's d DCP4.0 pump performance ? seen the spec says that it's better Hmax than d5 . |

QUOTE(J1@l_ l_l l\l @ Jul 10 2010, 02:08 AM) It seems to me tht U prefer asthetic rather than performance. can refer HERE for the quality of MIPS...the nickel finishing is really2 bad. i was there when the block is unbox. it was like a scratch all over it...u can feel it with ur fingers. really bad QC. Not sure bout the made quality of both MIPS and EK products. Actually I can't see anything about the part where it's bad? Maybe threads like this would be more useful: EK quality problem: http://www.realredraider.com/vbulletin/sho...ead.php?t=27730 EK quality problem: http://www.realredraider.com/vbulletin/sho...ad.php?p=131740 EK GTX470/480 problems booting up GPU: http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/index.php?mac...nt01returnid=17 EK 5850 back plate hitting chips behind the PCB: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=248005 EK 5970 water block, 84-86°С VRM temps: http://hw-lab.com/ati-hd-5970-watercooling...-ek-fc5970.html I agree that we can't blame them because everything has production issues but EK is just like Proton while other brands are probably Toyota's or BMW's It's just like defending that Proton is GREAT (although failure rate might be 40%-60%? - hypothetical example) and Ferrari's would have problems too (1%) This post has been edited by clawhammer: Jul 12 2010, 03:05 PM |
