QUOTE(metsatsu @ Jul 12 2010, 10:36 AM)
excellent. looking forward to it. but yeah, it's looking great in the dark. mind to list out your specs too? I would assume that I'm looking at Crosshair 4 formula right? and u got a dual rad?
*
Thanks bro! notworthy.gif

I'm using Asus Crosshair 4 Formula, AMD 965 BE, G.Skill Eco 1600 Mhz CL7 2x2gb Ram, XFX 5770 GPU and Coolermaster 750w Silent Pro PSU.
As for the fittings and water cooling stuff, I bold them in my 1st post. The rad is a 360 rad as bro shinjite said smile.gif

QUOTE(DzX @ Jul 12 2010, 11:49 AM)
nise setup rzs77..
are ur flow is pump>rad>cpu>res>pump ?

what that i heard the hot water must go to rad 1st before going into pump to prevent long term pump damage?...but i have seen lots of same setup like rzs77 doing, so the water get cool before it go inside the cpu..for perfomance.
so wc taiko might give some comment for this matter.. thx..
*
Thank you bro notworthy.gif

As for the flow/orientation, i think bro monsh has explained plenty biggrin.gif

QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 12 2010, 12:35 PM)
it doesnt matter which one comes first as long as the reservoir is 1 step before pump .
so that the pump get a clean flow of water without bubble .

that's what i know la .
cause mine oso like that .

res>pump>rad>CPU block

anyway, how's d DCP4.0 pump performance ?

seen the spec says that it's better Hmax than d5 .
*
Hmmm...this is my 1st time water cooling so I don't have a benchmark for the pump yet. However, I do feel that it is very strong already as i can see water moving in my res thumbup.gif
And i personally like it for the price tongue.gif

QUOTE(ezzydamvp @ Jul 12 2010, 01:02 PM)
nice setup bro. even its ur 1st time custom looping its different from others i saw with all those cacing n can i say asal boleh? but urs is creative. good job runner! wish to see more pics and the temp too  smile.gif
*
Cacing? tongue.gif
I know what u mean bro. Hahahaha! Well, I have 3 sifu's to teach and guide me, 2 from LYN and 1 from OCN. I hope i didn't let them down sweat.gif
Thanks for the compliments notworthy.gif
Later when i buy a mobo block, hope u guys can teach me some more.
Temps, later i'll do more stress testing.

Now for pics with flash:

QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 12 2010, 10:49 PM)
looks great dude !
the pump seems to be a good performing pump .
how bout the sound ?
does it produce any sort of buzzy sound ?
or any sort of sound
*
Thanks!
The pump doesn't produce any more noise after u get rid of most of the air bubbles. Only while filling it for the 1st time did the pump make choaking sounds tongue.gif
But now, I think my gpu fan is even louder then the pump. Btw, i just place the pump on top of my hdd cage (no pad/foam/sound absorbing material at all) without mounting it.

QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 12 2010, 11:36 PM)
and still no sound or vibration ?
great !
*
If u turn off the lights, television, ceiling fan at 3am in the morning and put ur ears next to the casing, of course u'll hear tongue.gif
But as I said, it's next to silent for everyday use, it doesn't bother me and that's most important thumbup.gif

QUOTE(DzX @ Jul 13 2010, 01:35 AM)
im using a thin sponge to absorb the vibration from the pump.. biggrin.gif
*
i thought of doing the same too! but then when i finished arranging everything, i forgot so now lazy nak kluakan sume blk laugh.gif

QUOTE(Jibek @ Jul 13 2010, 03:34 AM)
wow.,nice setup u got there rzs77.,but why not with the cosmos s case..
*
Thanks bro!!!
Cosmos S aku nye start button dah xleh tekan, kene solder balik, aku x reti, tros jual cry.gif
But RV02 is a great case too! Everything fits perfectly and dah siap2 hitam, xyah nk cabut satu2, g powder coat laugh.gif
Maybe if ade gpu block susah sket but for me, it's the perfect size, next project, TJ07 + 2x 480 rad biggrin.gif

QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 13 2010, 07:14 PM)
black + red very2 nice ! almost like mine xcept mine is black + red + white + blue T_T
*
Thanks! I was thinking of adding some more colors to but then i dunnoe what else can go with red. Any suggestions? And do u think 2x CCFL enough? Maybe I should get 1 more set (2x13cm)?

QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 13 2010, 09:17 PM)
13cm ?
or u mean 2x12cm ?

anyway, TJ07 wont fit 2x 480 rad .
unless u run the PSU outside >.<"
or u do mod and put the 2nd rad on top of the casing which is ugly i guess .

1x 480 i think should be enough to tame i7 + mobo + GPU .

anyway, just got my 5870 and seems like the performance on stock is not so great.

just a tad bit better than my previous GTX285 .

anyway, does anyone know any red color fan 120mm and 92mm version with red color but good performance ?
*
Haha! Of course won't fit...that's why need to mod, then powder coat orange black wub.gif

QUOTE(reiben05 @ Jul 13 2010, 09:56 PM)
brows.gif try placing some shrouds also on top.. brows.gif .. it'll look nice.. nod.gif

the 5870 imo is a great single card.. ran as good as my HD4870x2 smile.gif.. even at stock..

red color fan hmm.gif .. xigmatek crystal series.. im still waiting for xiggy distro's to bring them in hmm.gif..
*
Nnt dah dapat, will try placing 1x 480 at the bottom and 1 on top, exactly what i had in mind thumbup.gif

y the system looks better when use good camera to snap !
anyway, nice one dude but it seems like u dont put fan on ur rad is it ?
ur just using those 3x 180mm fan provided by SS to cool down ur rad ?
how's d performance on load though ?
*
Hehehe...I guess crispier photos trick the eye? Hahahaha!
N yeah, I'm not using any fans on top of my res. I don't like the noise. Trying to keep it as quiet as possible so just using the stock fans. I might upgrade those to the white ones by Silverstone though. But they cost a bomb, RM99 each. So 3x99 = RM 297 =.="
The performance on load is like bro Ezzy said. Superb!

QUOTE(ezzydamvp @ Jul 15 2010, 11:56 AM)
he told me he's using the stock 180mm fan to cooldown the rad...he said P2 955be 4ghz on stress load max 46c which i tink its quit good.
