wah lao !
i tot only few ppl using r3e .
haha >.<"
guys, can please report the temp status on r3e mobo ?
still thinking whether or not to get wb for chipset >.<"

Get la, c how dirty it is buying 2 units frm En. Ong then V share 1/2 1/2 ,each for 1 of us.

I'd really interested to find out the improvement b4 n after the block installed.

Depends on batch of 930, uncore 4000Mhz needs VTT at least 1.4v
A sweet combo of vcore, VTT, vdimm, IOH will determine the stability of this frequency.
This VTT will affect PWM (system) temp, most mobos can handle up to 100C.
Throttling at temp approaching 90C during LinX can be solved by setting program process priority from Normal to "Above Normal" laugh.gif

solved ?
u mean it'll be lower temp on the pwm temps when set prime95 to above normal ? hmm.gif

oh btw, since im still new in this, mind xplaining what's d function of IOH and ICH ?
and vTT = QPI voltage right ?

not lowering the temp but to tell the cpu to load stronger
CPU VTT = QPI volt
IOH - This voltage aids when increasing base clocks above say 200.
ICH - This voltage feeds the chip that regulates the communication from the peripherals to the CPU via the DMI. It is best to set this at auto.

if i'm not mistaken, IOH is actually refers to your NB voltage..and ICH is SB voltage..

you need to increase your IOHv since your baseclock increases..NB is the part where the bclk linkage with with the memory clock(ram)..due to increase in bclk will increase the memory clocks, we need also to increase the IOHv..say 1.3-1.35v...this is where i put mine at 4.00

oh ok so IOH and ICH voltage i can imagine which to increase already .
so this uncore thing here, what does it connect to ?
which voltage is required to increase in order to gain more uncore frequency ?

ekekeke.. biggrin.gif first you have to know that like CPU clock speed, dram speed, and QPI frequency, uncore is a multiple of the base clk. Uncore can be set independently of those other frequencies, subject to certain stability limitations... smile.gif

usually, the uncore freq must be at least 2:1 of the DRAM speed otherwise you will not get a stable overclock, in fact your PC will not even boot if the ratio is not suitable... sweat.gif

Increasing the uncore:dram ratio above 2:1 yields significant performance gains. try not to get the uncore freq subject to 3:1, you will not a stable oc.. sweat.gif

Added on June 24, 2010, 12:50 amone more thing, try to update to bios bro..they correct some kind of stability issues already..i have updated mine 0602, so far, np.. rclxms.gif

yeah i know them by much but i just wanna know what's d relation of this thing to this thing .
something like that laa .
cause im still unclear about QPI and uncore .
what's d function of uncore and does QPI increase WRT bclk ?

Aik, where were V huh doh.gif

Oh ya, talking bout the static pressure, for 120mm, any suggestion for high static fan with noise level not more than 40dBA and generates more than 100cfm? M I too selective tongue.gif

TribeWerk seems kindda pricey, don't U guys think?
