QUOTE(ocz @ Aug 28 2008, 11:47 PM) yo bro, i noticed something wrong with ur loopit should go as reservoir pump block/rad reservoir from ur setup, it is pump reservoir chipset block and cpu block ur reservoir lower barbs should be act as outlet while upper barb should act as inlet, from the pics definately there are problems, and also ur pump inlets are on the top ? if yes just reverse the tubings on the reservoir, else i think u should rearrange ur loop.... |

QUOTE(lichyetan @ Aug 29 2008, 12:05 PM) yo bro, i noticed something wrong with ur loop That's what i thought.something wrong. My pump is suffering when i tried it last nite.it should go as reservoir pump block/rad reservoir from ur setup, it is pump reservoir chipset block and cpu block ur reservoir lower barbs should be act as outlet while upper barb should act as inlet, from the pics definately there are problems, and also ur pump inlets are on the top ? if yes just reverse the tubings on the reservoir, else i think u should rearrange ur loop.... All right,i already change the reservoir inlet n outlet. Reservoir - Top part inlet, bottom outlet Pump - Top outlet, bottom inlet. Thank you bro. |

actually to be honest, i think ghetto tubes are good enough.
ACE sells cheap ones and they're good enough. doubt the extra special properties of the tubes will help that much >< |

to be honest, for parrallel setup, its is advised to have same flow rate of both block, else ur block are cooling inefficiently...
having them in series the difference will be very small, we are talking about 0.x C, no matter how u arrange ur loop, as long as the reservoir is b4 ur pump, the temp will only have very slight different, like i said b4 0.x C. for example: water tends to flow to the less restrictive block, just like our electronics circuit current, when u put different restrictive and flowrate block in parrallel, the flow will split inbalancely, making the least restrictive block getting more flow than the more restrictive one, this will make the block inefficient. the main purpose for parrallel setup is to use same identical block / rad to make the loop least restrictive and get higher flowrate. For example, 2 mcw-60 will make both block getting the same flowrate, hence making the overall flowrate much more better, but in the other way round, putting different block will make situation worst as one block will cooling inefficiently, reduced the potential cooling capabilities of tht particular block. 2nd example: having parrallel identical radiator will also make ur cooling more efficient as both radiator cooling at same efficiency and having better overall flowrate... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « eh bro, i think youre loop is suffering a serious pressure drop. your pump shouldnt be pumping into the GPU and CPU at once. it should be into cpu and then into gpu. like that its very uneven and defeats the purpose of getting a etup like that leh |
