Biught 2 redmi 4a from lazada.

1st bought last 2 week my warranty. With rom 8.1.4

2nd bought my set received 3days ago. With 8.2.6.

But when i check on 1st phone, no update available.
In en.miui.com also not listed yet...

But compare between the 2 rom, latest rom drain battery a bit fast.

another question on flashing ya:

if recovery rom can be done on system update (download by phone and update thru updater)....why do we choose the alternative of fastboot rom need to connect cable, on off hp ,on fastboot and flash thru using a computer, extra hassle.

It's like install from fresh
U can use updater if ur appl dun have isu with it
Certain appl need to reinstall after rom update

Latest version for Redmi 4X is MIUI V8.2.9.0(MAMMIEA) isn't it?

Between Mi4 and Redmi 4x,
Snapdragon 801 is much more superior in performance correct?
Although in most other things Mi4 is outdated.

Just get Redmi 4X or Redmi Note 4. Forget about the Mi4. The battery and the fingerprint are so handy. Unless you want pure performance or flash CM ROM.

bear in mind SD801 is only 32bit processor. Though performance is better, things like battery performance and heat is not good. As for GPU, the SD625 actually have better one. I think it's Adreno 505 vs 303.

So I would go for sd625 as it's new tech, less heat, less battery hungry, new phone and so on.

I want to know well you all satisfied with xiaomi 4A and 4X in term of software.and durability? I know the price consider cheap especially when compared to other phone with similar spec.

I don't mind much if the camera not good enough. The important thing for me is about the processor and RAM performance. I don't want a lag phone and unstable software. So far from the Google, most feedback are good. My daily usage is a standard busy worker and only will spend my time On phone for YouTube and web browsing. The battery capacity also a good to have in redmi 4x.
