Any known issues? Btw I just get my Redmi 4 Prime fixed at a shop in Subang, called Fast Technology. You can try asking them. Seems reliable too me. You'll find it right away in Google Maps.

they only provide changing whole cover which cost around RM100

Keke I got mine 4 pro 3GB ram and 32GB storage.
Just unlock the phone today.
Later tonight will try out with Miui 9 China rom.

[Quick update]

I'm a RM4P user. I wanted to try out an Android 7.1 ROM so I installed an unofficial version of Lineage OS.

Results:
1. Faster
2. Better battery life
3. Less bloat

Features I miss:
1. Bandwidth monitor
2. Stock MIUI camera touch to capture button
3. Notepad (-.-")
4. Sync to MiCloud
5. Native hide files feature
6. Charge indicator (unavailable if I select TEXT/PERCENTAGE only)
7. Google Assistant

Can't have everything I guess.

EDIT: I only appreciated how good the stock MIUI camera is until AFTER trying out Lineage OS' Snap Camera and Oxygen OS stock camera. Guess what? I tried installing MIUI8 camera on Lineage OS and it was incompatible. Gonna have to wait for someone to upload the default MIUI9 apps one day.

why such a big difference?

Android OS and pre-installed apps ate up some of the 16GB space.

6GB reserved for OS and preinstalled apps?

Xiaomi Phone? Minimum are 32GB. Goodluck for 16GB. My 8GB cant even load more img/voice note on my Redmi 2. End up running LineageOS.

Bought this case from Lazada. IMO, while it fits fine onto my phone, I feel it's still a bit loose, especially the front left and right "lip". IO cutout is perfect though.


What's the big deal about flexibility? Please enlighten me.

Anyone using Redmi 4 China Set? I found out my GPS is not working for sometimes, it couldnt lock on the locations, anyone have solutions to this? Like changing the gps version and so?

Anyone using Redmi 4 prime? What rom you're using? Thinking of playing around with custom rom (extra phone).
