Xiaomi officially announced Redmi 4 the successor for Redmi 3 yesterday(4th November). Comes with 3 variants to cater consumer budget and requirement. Leading the pack is Redmi 4 Prime, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC which is an octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. This is worthwhile upgrade compared to its predecessor Redmi 3S which have Snapdragon 430. Redmi 4 Prime using 5" screen at 1080p for display, while for the storage counterpart comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Running Android 6.0 which skinned by MIUI 8.0 make sure it stay on latest tech even for low-end segment smartphone. The battery is 4100mAh, but there is no words yet whether Redmi 4 Prime will support fast charging or not. Other features include dual-sim slots which one of the slot can use as microSD slot, 13MP back and 5MP front camera. and Bluetooth 4.1 support.

The others two variants are Redmi 4A and Redmi 4. Pricing in China are as follow,

Pls update the name for Snap625 SoC. It's Redmi 4 Prime/Pro.

Errr... This is for 5" screen. All three variants has Snap SoC.

Maybe you are waiting for the 5.5" Note 4 to have Snap653, which is yet to be found.

Got to love the Chinese brand especially Xiaomi.In a year they can launch 6 model for each brand.Its exciting time to play around and really love it.

The Redmi 4 Prime/Pro is absolutely "under priced". Unless... Qualcomm releases slightly different variant of the Snap625... just like what they did to Snap800/801 last time and the current Snap821...

Quick Charge 3.0 is still mystery... if Xiaomi pays the license for QC3.0, it will be super-yummy...

Yeah, I searched everywhere on their official webpage, but did not find anywhere mentioned any fast charging technology(QC 3.0 in this case).

redmi4 have sd625 same as MotoZ play which is an upgrade from redmi3s.

redmi note 3 which is higher class than redmi4 also no qc.

There's a redmi note 3 pro which has sd650

If you compare Redmi 4 low version. I talk about the high end Redmi 4 version lel... And I find this interesting because it use sd625 which is used in more than rm1k phone
