QUOTE(Darrylx3 @ Mar 7 2025, 10:26 AM) If price gap between rx9070xt and 5070ti isn't that big might as well get 5070ti. Raster performance is comparable but ray tracing Nvidia wins by a mile. prob u cant get 5070ti AT retail price, if u going to build full pc that is okay. Even bundle psu etc 5070ti cost u 4.5k. 1k diffWould be an easy buy if 9070xt priced around 3k, gonna sit this one out and come back in a few months time hopefully stock and prices get better 🙏. 5070ti no bundle price? 5k This post has been edited by ben3003: Mar 7 2025, 10:52 AM |

Yeap but I think Taichi one is better than Nitro plus. As I remember correctly taichi fan only spins about 1100rpm where nitro plus spins about 1300rpm. ![]() Based on Paulhardware's video |

QUOTE(Smithmaster @ Mar 7 2025, 11:12 AM) Yeap but I think Taichi one is better than Nitro plus. You can ramp up but i dont think its fan curve issue. I suspect the coolers did not make good contact with VRAM. But then GPU hotspot temp is far higher than GPU temp so it could mean their coolers is inadequate. As I remember correctly taichi fan only spins about 1100rpm where nitro plus spins about 1300rpm. QUOTE(overfloe @ Mar 7 2025, 08:27 AM) [attachmentid=11510783] won't say it's "reasonable", but it is within my budget, as I set Rm4k as my budget ceiling.prices from idealtech. cheaper and performs better than 7900 XT. cheaper than 4070 Ti Super, similar performance. way way cheaper than 5070 Ti but of course, lesser performance. but in some reviews, it trade blows and can be better than 5070Ti (raster). better than 5070. good price? only buyer (in malaysia of course) can decide. wait for a few months, scout for monthly deals from lazatda/shopee and probably can shave a few hundreds off the MRP (Malaysian Retail Price). Just to be on safe side, I will be looking at either sapphire or powercolour. overfloe liked this post

QUOTE(overfloe @ Mar 7 2025, 08:27 AM) [attachmentid=11510783] I would say, RTX4070 is a good option if you really cant wait and find it. I went to Digital Mall earlier, all of them except C-Zone were selling the 9070 series with PC bundle. Only C-Zone still offered Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070XT at RM3579, no bundle required. Dunno how long before they also change their stance.
