Found a small store in Kepong who is selling one 9070 non XT for RM3300. Already sold his one 9070XT for about RM4000. Quite the markup for the XT when it's only USD50 diff. At least its the first indiciation of the Malaysian prices for the 9000 series cards at launch. And no need to buy with other parts or bundle.

"special price"? i tot the entry card will be rm2700 ish, or probably rm3000 due to tax

rm4000 i think people rather go for rtx 5070 ti

Yeah, I also don't feel quite worth it to buy it at that price. I may as well wait until the price becomes more sensible then only buy.
*
For sure not worth. But what to do, willing buyer willing seller scenario.
hopefully others not selling that exorbitant pricing.

Hopefully those prices were because it was sold before officially on sale time. Converted to USD, the RM4000 XT is 900usd. 50% more than the US msrp of 600.

For the price of 4K on XT card, that is almost equivalent to the 5070Ti.
This is quite hard to justify on going to AMD considering that Nvidia offer much more feature.  bye.gif

Deswai I said AMD Msia in lalaland allowing prices to near its competitor but with inferior features, who wants to buy Radeons then? <10% market only.

Then dont be a willing waterfish. Let them Radeons rot on the shelves, so I can then buy cheaper Geforces (sarcasm)

Yeah, the official price for one of the cards is RM3499. Huge markup.

AMD Malaysia goal each year is to make people buy more Nvidia GPUs.

RX 9070s performance looks great though, even RT performance is almost on par if not on par with equivalent Nvidia GPU.

Much better, while RT performance still leaves much to be desired compared to the 5070 Ti, the fact that there is decent availability (at least outside MY) should hopefully pressure Nvidia into improving their inventory levels icon_idea.gif

I may consider going for a 5070 Ti as I owned a couple of Radeon GPUs if I can get one at a more sensible pricing (hopefully they can sort out the missing ROPs and the software problems) laugh.gif

Funny why they needed to do that coz they supposedly had been stockpiling 9070s since Jan wat (the supposed original launch date). Maybe their trying to ride the luck from Nvidia shortages which may catch Radeon fanbois & those despo for any GPU but I dont see this continuing for long, maybe a month or 2 before they release ala carte sale simply coz who then would wanna buy a Radeon if they willing to wait for 5000series?

comparing the retail price, the RT perform is around 15% lesser than 5070ti, if can get around 3.2k++ then it will be so much sensible compared to the current 5070 ti. Hopefully local distro don screw this up. If not can owes import from taobao lol
