Reviews for Ryzen 5 are here:

https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/Ryz...5_1600X/20.html

Funnily enough TPU decided to think that the lack of integrated graphics chip on a gaming-oriented chip is a con... laugh.gif

haha but i ssaw it show valid till 4/1
if i buy ryzen processor need get graphic card

Yup - Ryzen does not have an integrated graphics but for the intended market (gaming/workstation), it doesn't really matter since you are going to have a discrete one icon_idea.gif

No - your PC will not boot unless a GPU is installed. icon_idea.gif

That TDP bump of RX580 from 150W to 185W, and a recommended power supply of 600W. ><
*
Newsflash - overclocked GPU consumes more power

In other news, water is wet - it's an overclocked RX 480 after all so it's kinda expected icon_idea.gif

Also the recommended PSU is overkill as most manufacturers tend to go overboard with their PSU requirements (presumably intended to avoid potential false advertising) icon_idea.gif

https://www.computerbase.de/2017-04/radeon-...e-battlefield-1

Interestingly the idle power consumption is pretty good, especially on multimonitor setups (which is a very well known problem among AMD cards) icon_idea.gif

If you think the 185W TDP is bad then imagine my HD7950 with a TDP of something closer to 200W sweat.gif

Also TDP is not an indication of power consumption - this has been debunked for many times icon_idea.gif

IMHO the winners here are the RX550/RX560 as it is one of the first mainstream AMD cards to be offered with low profile designs (which is fantastic for SFF or god forbids, prebuilt machines) brows.gif

If there is RX 590 my guess would be 2x RX 480  sweat.gif

Could low yields of HBM2 memory be the cause? hmm.gif

Review of Sapphire RX-Vega 64 Nitro+ from Toms.

First of, power consumption.  doh.gif  I wonder how much user can reduce the power consumption by undervolting.

Am I the only one that thinks AMD GPUs are good at undervolting? It looks like most recent AMD GPUs are meant to be undervolted for some odd reasons sweat.gif

If this is true then it's utterly dissapointing
Was hoping for the next AMD GPU to be able to beat RTX 2080 Ti. Or at least beat the crap out of GTX 1080 Ti
*
That one will be Navi - which won't be available until 2019 icon_idea.gif

Polaris refresh would be something to compete with the upcoming RTX2060 icon_idea.gif

I wonder why there is a RM200 markup compared to US pricing? hmm.gif

Does anyone have the reference RX5700? My HD 7950 gave up the ghost today and I'm considering upgrading to a reference RX5700 as I'm using a small form factor case hmm.gif

Tech powerup & Guru 3D have the reviews of ASUS ROG Strix 5700xt reviews:

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/asus-rad...00-xt-strix-oc/

https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/asus-...x-review,1.html

This card is going to be expensive in Bolehland.
*
It's ASUS, what do you expect? laugh.gif

Also the thermals, noise and performance are not even that good considering the pricing icon_idea.gif

The Sapphire Pulse models are much better and is basically the same price as the reference model (about USD 10 more than the reference model), and is actually a more compact card and comes with a quieter, cooler fan icon_idea.gif

It's also worth noting that the Pulse model is actually the cheaper design, and Sapphire is going to release their Nitro+ variant which is a more premium model icon_idea.gif

Looks like I'm going to get the Sapphire Pulse models soon if it lands here brows.gif

Actually there are variety choices of budget 2070 Super at slightly more than RM2300 such MSI Ventus, Zotac twin fan, Inno3d Twin, Galax EX etc. But still no pricing disclosed for non ref 5700XT.
*
I did bought a Sapphire RX5700XT Pulse for RM2099 from TechView:
https://shopee.com.my/SAPPHIRE-PLUSE-AMD-Ra...4936.2680045040

The weird thing here is that the fact the Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse is even cheaper than the ASUS 5700 Strix while at the same time the Sapphire outperforms the ASUS
in terms of acoustics and thermals without making their card extremely large icon_idea.gif

One thing the ASUS card is good at however, is that the PCB is quite overengineered:

Yes, at 2.3k only have lower end cooler and better cooler at around 2.5k.

We already know the price for 5700 XT Strix and 5700 Strix which is 2.5k and 2.2k respectively. It come with 3+1 warranty.
*
That's just ASUS tax being tacked on laugh.gif

If you want to buy a non ref AMD card always stick to the three AIBs: Sapphire/XFX/PowerColor icon_idea.gif
