got 32gb xtx version to run llm at much cheaper price hopefully.

But will it has the GPU horsepower to utilise such huge VRAM? As it is, its predicted to be about 7900XT perf. Not even XTX version. Its that bad how AMD has regressed.

I think distros here prematurely stop ordering in Radeons anticipating 9070 Feb launch. Manatau AMD push back to mid March. Also I believe distros here have receive their stocks but cannot sell due to embargo. AMD cannot fight Nvidia, so they try to win the title "Worst Launch of the Year"

No what I meant was they might have stop bringing new 7000series stocks coz they switch to bringing 9070 stocks. All their money tied there so perhaps thats why they cannot bring new 7000 back in (or maybe AIBs ady stop making them and also churning out 9070s?)

Old models likely will go dry b4 significant price drops by time 9070s coming in.

Now that 9070xt perf is kinda leaked, you be lucky if they hadnt increase prices as AMD wont come out with something better in this gen.

As what GN & HUB have said, fake frames is not to increase perceived FPS so that can keep your GPU longer but its more meant for frame smoothing.
For FG to work you ady need a high end GPU and that would still be playing at 100+ FPS in future.

At least FG allows the game become more playable with better FPS albeit have to sacrifice the graphics but I think with FG and better FPS is better than low resolution + low settings for all for better FPS kot

It depends, visual perception is based on individual preference so some reviewers opined that it 'looks' better going native reso w/o RTX than downscaling with DLSS when turning on RT just to keep the same FPS. So there will be cases where the fakes are better implemented but also others which are not. YMMV

as long you can lock your base frame to 60fps for example then the frame gen will be smooth with minimal input latency and a vrr / freesync capable monitor is a must.

550 USD for the vanilla model?

It feels like AMD wants to upsell us the more expensive model... although RIP 5070 Ti if AMD AIBs can supply enough of them
