THIS

Anything they touch turns to shit. Dunno where they get their service team from but a bunch of lazy no knowledge mechanics. Rosak, tukar, rosak, tukar...no wonder Naza losing money in this dept.

I heard Naza failed to pay their insurance panel, Tune Insurance for extended warranty claims.

Nothing surprises me anymore coming from Naza....these are the list of cars you should be staying away from as they are distributed by Naza or it's subsidiaries

Peugeot
Kia
Chevrolet
Koenigsegg
Ferrari
Maserati
Brabus tuned Mercedes Benz
Ducati
Harley Davidson
Vespa
Aprillia
and all cars imported by them on AP

U cant blame the service centre. Peugeot doesnt have the volume of sales to have fantastic service. Besides, the cars are made to fail. Every component in a french car are made to fail. Its common that after u repair one part, next week another part fails. Very common in Korean and French cars.

Thats why i have advised people to dont buy French or Korean cars. U have to stick with the Japs. Their cars are reliable as hell. If u want conti, get Merc. End of story. The other car makes are all wannabes trying their luck.

Of cuz if money is no issue to u, then go for Porsche

Serena Model 2016 - Latest airbag and no more common problems faces by previous model.

I will not go for Proton. Not anymore. I always send my proton to SC.. never send to other place. Yet, still got lot of issue. I owned 2 Proton before. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Serena - looks like pakcik pakcik (Although I am actually a pakcik).

Mitsubishi Outlander - got no a/c at second and third row. Not suitable for family of 6 like mine.

Forturner - all good except the leather seat feel like waja only and the bumpy is obvious.

which leaves me kia sorento and hyundai santa fe.
since kia got after sales prob like mentioned in this thread... maybe i will go with santa fe. my budget is below 200k.
any advise?

Old Korean cars breakdown often as latest Peugeot.

Newer Korean nope. Pretty reliable as Jap now.

yeah man..

fortuner is nice. better resale value. no head ache on after sales service. but seat like hilux, waja. bumpy a bit.

Santa fe is more comfortable. got paranomic view. hyundai after sales service - some say bad some say average. even during test drive pun i feel weird. radio suddenly turned on while reversing.

actually in Malaysia which one has the best aftersales? Toyota, Honda? Perodua? Proton experienced before more than 10 years back, asked how long roughly the wiper blade they sell can last, Glenmarie fella said oh bergantung la, kalau eksiden, rosak terus, susah nak cakap
*
toyota used to be quick and reliable, then now they seemed to adopt itu biasalah mentality
likw their big bro perodua itu biasalah
honda if major problem like suspension squeak wait long long la, and you kena tell itu biasalah
proton they change for you, but sure need to go fix again bcos recurring problem is biasalahh

Well, TBH, no car is immune to major problems. It's how the SC treat these problems that's the issue. For now, I would avoid any cars distributed by Naza like a plague.

Good. I just cancelled the test drive with Peugeot 5008. Malaysian MPV market sucks. Very hard to find 6 airbags or high Ancap rating. Which only leaves me SUV options.

I wonder if Kia and Hyundai have the same after sales service issue? I heard Kia improved but not sure how much. torn between Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe.
any advise ?
*
Kia got very very high rating in united states, more so than japanese cars
