Hi all my friends out there, please kindly help me to share this especially to those of your friends who is driving a Peugeot car, this may be concerning them after a long run. Besides, for those who is considering of getting a peugeot car you might think twice after reading this experience sharing of mine.
All these while I was owning a Japanese car which has proven it's performance and reliability for more than 10yrs. Until 4years ago, I went on a test drive on peugeot 3008, which really made me feel amazed about continental car despite the bad comments from all my friends about Peugeot car. I liked the exterior design, the interior design, performance, safety so much which has caused me a wrong decision by not considering the after sales service of the car which is the most crucial part of owning a car.
For the first 3 years, no issue was found and everything until recently that I was wondering why the coolant was draining so fast, which I had to top up the coolant every 2 weeks. I sent in my car to check and I was told that no leakage until one day in June 2016, the air-conditioning went malfunction, I sent my car to the workshop and asking them to check what is wrong with my car, they diagnosed and told me that it is due to the outlet tank issue, which I immediately asked if this is under the 5 years warranty coverage, I asked to speak to the manager and he refused to talk to me. Then I tried calling the care line for couple of days trying to file the complaint but it didn't go through. At last, this has forced me to give in coz I need the car and I can't bear the situation that I Hv to keep topping up coolant every trip I Hv to use my car.
Few weeks later, the outlet tank come, I sent my car to the same workshop to fix which caused me ~RM1.4k. I thought that would have ended the nightmare of filling up my coolant tank everyday when I want to use my car, about a week later, the coolant is low warning popped up again. I resent my car back to the service center and this time I was told that the sensor was broken and need to be replaced and again this is not under coverage and again the order time for it might take another few weeks. Once again, I patiently waited for it while continue driving my car. Here it comes the problem again, while I was driving a Long journey and stopped in front of the traffic light, I realised that smokes coming out from my engine compartment and immediately sent back to the workout. Wtf, this is totally unacceptable, how can they never even check thoroughly before released the car to customer. It took them about a month to diagnosed the problem and again ~RM1k was charged for the seal pocket, oil return hose and intake pipe. The manager promised to give me a temporary car to use for the meantime but it kept delay until 2 weeks later only we get the car.
After a month of leaving my car in the workshop, when the day my dad collecting the car on my behalf, he was again told that the mounting bracket was loose and rattling sound can be heard during the drive. This has almost reaching my limit of tolerance, how can the workshop fix a problem and caused another problem and all the costs need to be paid by the customer.
The best part is, how stupid am I to continue to pay time after time for the mistakes that could have been caused my the technician lack of competency skills in repairing my car. Therefore, I decided to file this official complaint to Peugeot Malaysia. If you guys think that this is the end, I'm sorry to tell you no, I paid for another ~RM500 for 90km service and ~RM1.4k for the mounting bracket reinstallation on 28-Sep-2016 and 24-Oct-2016 respectively, thinking that I can finally have my car back and perform at it best quality, now the fxxking braking system faulty come out this time. I waited for half a day in the workshop on Thursday and was told that it is nothing major but Jz bcoz of the braking fluid is below level, it was topped up and no leakage found, but seriously, it comes up again just now which pissed me off totally.
I strongly urge everyone of you to think twice about the after sales service when you are going to buy a car based on this bad experience I had. Please help me to share out as I couldn't get to the right PIC in the complaint department in whole Peugeot service center or careline that I can file the complaint.

this is one of my friend story about Peugeot:

Driving a vw make no diff. Recently I send my car for 60k mileage major service, told them the window and the lock system hv problem. End up they only change the lock system. Nxt week the window broke down cause can't open my door. (It's a frameless window)  send back again to repair, this time they replace the window thing but spoiled my tinted. They ask me to schedule another day go back their service center to replace. The only good news is everything still under warranty. Can't even imagine how if the cars without warranty

And the cost of repair is dirt cheap
Most bengkel bawah pokok can repair
No need order bullshit install by bullshit specialists

In terms of engine and electrical issues, vw is much better than pug

You change your thermostat housing alrady? Because usually that's where the leak come from. Feom my opinion,  I can say that part seriously having design issue.

Because Peugeot is serviced by Naza here in Malaysia... Naza has shit after sales service, never ever buy anything that is related to Naza and Marion Caunter, sure u will kena scammed.
