Driving a vw make no diff. Recently I send my car for 60k mileage major service, told them the window and the lock system hv problem. End up they only change the lock system. Nxt week the window broke down cause can't open my door. (It's a frameless window)  send back again to repair, this time they replace the window thing but spoiled my tinted. They ask me to schedule another day go back their service center to replace. The only good news is everything still under warranty. Can't even imagine how if the cars without warranty

In terms of engine and electrical issues, vw is much better than pug

You change your thermostat housing alrady? Because usually that's where the leak come from. Feom my opinion,  I can say that part seriously having design issue.

I will not go for Proton. Not anymore. I always send my proton to SC.. never send to other place. Yet, still got lot of issue. I owned 2 Proton before. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Serena - looks like pakcik pakcik (Although I am actually a pakcik).

Mitsubishi Outlander - got no a/c at second and third row. Not suitable for family of 6 like mine.

Forturner - all good except the leather seat feel like waja only and the bumpy is obvious.

which leaves me kia sorento and hyundai santa fe.
since kia got after sales prob like mentioned in this thread... maybe i will go with santa fe. my budget is below 200k.
any advise?

Hyundai is under Sime Darby, shit after sales, Kia eventhough under Naza, if u join car groups in FB, rarely any mention of the car being problematic. Somehow Naza Kia service is way better than Naza Peugeot

Interested to know as well. Seriously considering a Traveller, but upon listening to the horror story, I'm not keen. One thing for sure, the 2 Peugeot showrooms I've been the SA are either lazy, not knowledgeable or don't give a rats ass about selling. I can't imaging what happen when the service technician works on the vehicle.
