Its funny proton got all the bad reputation like power window and rattling dadhboard but people still rate them low compared to european and conti brand that have even worse reliability issue and expensive to fix

Good. I just cancelled the test drive with Peugeot 5008. Malaysian MPV market sucks. Very hard to find 6 airbags or high Ancap rating. Which only leaves me SUV options.

I wonder if Kia and Hyundai have the same after sales service issue? I heard Kia improved but not sure how much. torn between Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe.
any advise ?

Kia / Hyundai more reliable than Peugeot. Parts also cheaper and lesser electronics than French. Bloody Europeans don't know how to make reliable cars these days. After WW2, they became lazy.

Wow peugeot car so complicated. I am wondering why so difficult to solve coolant problem before i read ur comment. Now i understand because for japanese car, coolant just got a hose connect to radiator that all. Sometimes no coolant also no problem not a big deal but i guess peugeot coolant got more function which doesn't seem to be a good thing here

What tok you?
Jap turbo engine also have coolant and oil flow to the turbo mah.
Even got water to the intercooler, oil to the radiator.

But jap engine is designed better.

This!
After sales service is NOT their business.
Feels like they only want to roll over the AP as fast as possible!

French cars - no matter how good still suck at reliability. U will eventually spend more than the car itself.

Before u invest in 1, make friends with specialist mechanics, chop shop bosses and join a local forum. These contacts will ease your anxiety for owning one. If u clueless on cars or simply ignorant, French marque is not for u. Stick to Proton instead.

Renault french also right?

Problem with pug is that too many sensors which sometimes give u false alarms. The rest is ok..... And service centres slow. I own one since June 2013.

THIS

Anything they touch turns to shit. Dunno where they get their service team from but a bunch of lazy no knowledge mechanics. Rosak, tukar, rosak, tukar...no wonder Naza losing money in this dept.

Buying peug is like gambling. You gonna keep flowing your money into it till the level your financial badly affected and can't take it no more.
Peug is famous with it. For the most average Malaysian, buying mainstream car with plenty choices of service centre, kedai bawah pokok and specialist is always recommended.
