Seeking advice on IBG payment.

I have instructed standing instruction to transfer from MBB to StanChart on 29 Aug. It was only posted on 1Sept.

My due date was 30 August.

Will StanChart charge me interest for late payment?
*
For SCB dont play play, most likely considered as late payment and better to settle all outstanding amount since last statement date to avoid hefty interest.

Anyone has problem topping up grabpay with SC card?
I added my card, received OTP but when top up, after OTP is keyed in, it appeared unsuccessful.

Tried 5 x rm100, all unsuccessful.
Called SCB, they said not their problem because my card can used for payment at other platform, and it showed successful transactions on their end, hence the money is currently 'floating'.

Called Grab, they said not their problem either because i can top up successfully using other cards. Nonetheless, i asked them to reject the transactions so that they are refunded to my card.

Anyone experienced this before? Tried removing and add back, also not successful

My experience is I cannot use it immediately after I add and save SC cards. Can only use it on the next day.

canceled JOP last week. transferred remaining cb balance to LFC.

today CS called back to retain the card, with some offers:

1) AF waiver until 202x, forgotten how many years
2) told CS no point keeping if still gotta pay SST every year. then CS offer RM200 spend for RM50 rebate.

continue to cancel, cuz got Affin Duo incoming, and also to reduce some cards (chopped off MBB FCB earlier).

Haha, I thought you will accept their offer since kinda like offset SST

Nevertheless, Affin Duo is awfully good to go and destroy JOP card user indirectly

I still have another principal JOP to use. biggrin.gif

imo, jop tiered cashback is tedious to manage. Affin Duo can sort it out with less hassle.

No such thing. It has cross border but not for Grab and TnG, payment gateways are in Malaysia.

True that SCB has border charges and maybe few years ago, they did charge for Grab for cross border because the payment gateway was in Singapore. However, this has been changed to MY some time back. Same goes to Shopee, used to be in Singapore too.
