Update: Now look, this number one South East Asian Online Shopping just gave us an excuse that they charge us RM 50 because of system bug happy.gif.. What if we did not ask them why they charge that amount and this amount? Your money gone!

IF got lazada staff can join here, we can discuss this further here. Because they dont feel guilty yet.

why didnt you just return it, duh?
i have returned 2 items before for being not like the description and it was always easy to deal with lazada on the returns. maybe you are just not following the correct procedure?

Oh, I just don't have the time to ship it back to them. Beside, the item is usable though not as complete an experience if it had come with the whole set as described. The item has already been taken off & I don't see the seller's other items in Lazada. Perhaps YOU have to thank me instead of getting rid of these unscrupulous seller.

TO become a seller you don't have to be polite, honest. You just need a business registration number and there you go.

We became their seller few months back after signing contract with them. They provided us online training on how to use the system and the trainer told us that lazada gives free shipping fee of RM 5.30/1kg for every order that our customer order and the rest we need to pay for extra. So, started 1st September last month, we noticed that Lazada started to charge us on shipping fee without notification. They even took our money for deposit purposes without notification. We called their operators and all of them cannot do anything just telling us to email to lazada support. We emailed them, and this email-in-charge-operator asked us to call their operator back. So, who's in charge actually? Where is the manager? We are not able to reach this money-making-guy.
If we bought a mouse RM 6 and we sell to customer for RM 12, Lazada will take comission from the item price about 3% and shipping fee of RM 5.30, meaning that... Item that we bought RM 6 and we supposed to earn RM 6 minus with commision 3% + shipping fee = we lost.

We are lucky that one of our finance staff found out the the problem on account statement.

We lost our money around RM 600 ++ for their shipping charges. If you want to become a merchant with them, think twice, have your lawyer ready if you wanna fight them.

Losing RM 600 is a very small amount to them and they maybe think we are not gonna claim back the money using law in court.

If you are a small business like us, don't ever try to join them.  ranting.gif  ranting.gif

ANSWER: NO. MOST OF THE ITEM ARE NOT ORIGINAL. EVEN WE SELL SOME NON ORIGINAL ITEMS AND THEY STILL APPROVE IT. LAZADA DOESN'T SELL ITEMS. THEY ONLY PROVIDE SERVICE and charge merchant using commission approaches

I just meet the same problem like you, luckily i found out before i sold any item. my item cost about RM8.00 plus sell for RM15, lazada charge for 3% plus RM5 shipping fee, by the way my listed item are not allow to charge the buyer any shipping fee. the most idiot platform i ever see. 11street far more better.

well, I have got different experience. Lazada is worst in terms of merchant support. only good for end customers.

All they want is you to list more and more, but when comes to shipment tracking, account issues, they take ages to solve. starting for 2 weeks ago, all my orders cannot be tracked by lazada themselve even though i have send those invoice with skynet bill which is appointed by lazada themselve to ask me to drop off there.

1st of November starting. I am off to shopee. good luck.

The worst thing in my experience are when you update something like stock, prices, or description, or even a new product, it take ages to sync.

Many funny guy looks like expert but in fact only sitting kopitiam without business minded person will never know how Lazada, Alibaba, Alipay etc platform earns money. You thought they love merchant commission so much? It is just a part of income generating.

Where are the biggest income on this kind of platform? For some people, it might be a million dollar question.

In fact, the largest income part are the time variance. Just figure about it, I am lazy to explain.
