i m thinkin of gettin a psp,
but b4 gettin i got sum noob ques to ask.

if the psp i bought is version 2.70,
can i flash it to higher version like 3.30 or 3.40?
and hw can i make it homebrew enabled?
hw many mspd slot does psp have?
and can it play the ahem umd wif many games+movie and song?
lastly, wats the lastest price? (if not related to this thread den noneed answer )

anyway u can upgrade to higher no problems (easy sumore just buy a brand new game disc and put in, auto) ..or u can flash it to lower then flash it to higher (w/ capability to play hb)

Other media manager is just too complicated.
This one is easy, user-friendly and gets the job done.

ur psp can do anything a homebrew enable'ed psp does.
if u didnt buy 1 , go buy from bro bernard "gamers solution"

my psp now using firmware 3.11 (original sony network update) but i cant seem to update to the latest 3.40 firmware. why aa?

had no problem downloading the update but when upgrade starts, this message appears "The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed. Contact technical support for assistance. (DRNffffffd7)"

i also tried updating via pc but same problem. please advice..

yeah...OE better....more features

reset your psp to default settings. clear memory stick. backup savegame first. I'd recommend waiting for a downgrade though.

Hi! I plan to buy a PsP in the near future.
A few things I would like to know:-
-Which firmware should I go for? What's the difference? After reading the beginners thread, it seems that OE firmwares are quite complicated. Is it?
-Why does OE firmware make the PsP more powerful?
-If I'm willing to spend the extra cash to get original games, are there still reasons to get a PsP with an OE firmware?

Hi guys, want to ask about this 1st generation of PSP version 1.
how does it different from the version 1.5 ? can i still upgrade the version 1 PSP to version 3.4oe ? any hardware difference with the newer version of PSP in the market ?

its recommended u upgrade to version 1.5 before u update to oe firmwares

theres not much difference in the newer and older psp version.
