Would like to ask 1 question. For newly bought PSP, do we have to charge the battery like 8 hours or so ? Just wondering is it the same way of kick start the battery like what mobile phone battery does.

for lithium ion or lithium polymer, theres no need to do like that
the same for handphones, unless u re using those 90s motorola...

I think the battery for the PSP also has a cut off. Coz when u charge using the PSP, notice it will switch off automatically after u done charging (from red led to none).
Cut off are circuit controlled right? And if i'm not mistaken, there is a circuit board in the battery right?
Anyone has an extra battery to be cut in half? tongue.gif

Okay, so it is okay if we charge it while it still has some juice left in it? Or not recommended as old ions are not replaced or something?

Wondering is it possible to adjust the contrast or brightness of the screen ? Maybe like lower the brightness to save some juice ? If yes, how ? I can't find any sweat.gif

from the video, it doesn't show that Slimmy can output with fullscreen, now I wonder will that be any pixelation and aliasing if output it on HDTV?

progressive support. ok.. technically speaking.. there are two ways of TV displaying output to the screen.. for example 480i and 480p. "I" is interlace.. means there are TV will draw the image on the screen one horizontal line by one horizontal line.. there are many lines that combined together to make an image."P" is progressive, this one TV will draw the all the lines in one shot. no more one by one line.
but basically u cant even noticed it since tv has a frame rate such as 24 frame per second.. it means it will draw 24 image in one second. ehehe..

hehe.. that one is technically speaking.. but to know wether ur tv support progressive or not, just read the manual or maybe try to set your dvd player to output progressive mode. if your tv is blank.. then your tv does not support progressive.

ok I answer myself
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h38idWH8zR4

it will have fullscreen in XMB and video mode
but it will limited to 480×272 in game mode, which will be just slightly bigger than the PSP screen itself on a 22" WS monitor, and almost 1/3 of the 32" LCD TV at 720p, while it will be even smaller if its on 1080p TV
