Would to debunk truth from Sungei Wang sellers
I have been told that PSP Slim and Lite has a motherboard that the components cannot be replaced, so if there is any faults or problems with the board, a full board replacement will cost somewhere 800 ringgit.
The standard fat PSP could get it components replaced from the price range 80 to 150.
Is any of the statement above correct, wondering any PSP experts can clarify and explain more.

there are many 3rd party usb 2in1 charge cable available,
just that it needs you to plug on the yellow power adaptor jack instead of the usb port.
but usb charging for psp fat is kinda slow as my friend told me..not sure bout the psp slim though..

he said regarding on the battery.. huhu..
battery charging is controlled via hardware.. software would not do any better..

ermm.. well... regardless charging via usb or via the adapter, input is still 5V.. and USB output also 5V.(but if u plug into hub, the volt is reduced)

Would like to ask 1 question. For newly bought PSP, do we have to charge the battery like 8 hours or so ? Just wondering is it the same way of kick start the battery like what mobile phone battery does.

I think the battery for the PSP also has a cut off. Coz when u charge using the PSP, notice it will switch off automatically after u done charging (from red led to none).
Cut off are circuit controlled right? And if i'm not mistaken, there is a circuit board in the battery right?
Anyone has an extra battery to be cut in half? tongue.gif

Okay, so it is okay if we charge it while it still has some juice left in it? Or not recommended as old ions are not replaced or something?
