Cannot try the camera, since i'm in sarawak. Anyway, I tried my friend's A7IV before, so I know how good Sony A7IV AF are. Just couldn't believe that Z6III still lacking behind A7IV after all the hype and praises people sang for it.
Yeah, canon color tone nice, raw file also easy to edit to my liking. But the lack of 3rd parties lenses really make me wanna buy a A7IV. Backlit photo for canon I usually shoot under to preserve the highlight, just like what i did for this shot done last week.

If u like to switch between lenses during photoshoot, it's not advisable to get third party lenses. But if you just have a single lens in your bag, then it's okay. Because 3rd party lenses are not very sensitive in color temperature. As in the color temperature will not be consistent thru out the entire album. Usually 100-200 difference. Even if you shoot with two same third party lenses (lets say 35mm and 50mm), under the same lighting condition, the color temperature and tint might differ +/-200 and +/-10. So it's frustrating if u trying to get the same colors for entire album.
Shadows on the backlit photos in Canon usually will have a lot of grains and the skintones are hard to recover vs the sidelight ones. Here's one taken by Canon R5 50 F1.2. Sidelight is unbeatable. I just love the skintones.
