DirectD always is not my choice, the price there normally too expensive.
I am getting Black (Matte) coming future, after touching both, I never think about Jet Black anymore, not the scratch issue, but the finger magnet issue. Now just using Nexus 5x happily. smile.gif

I will lurk around Apple Store to experience it once I got the chance... btw... are u waiting for second batch from the fact since first batch got all types of issues...

Updated latest aod in my s7 edge but still not support third party apps notification like note 7, besides, abit used to the green battery icon....hahaa......that oso missing on s7 edge aod.

32gb does make alot difference.... that was my main reason to upgraded to n7 from s7 edge because i can use dual sim instead of sacrifice sim 2 as micro sd slot. With s7 edge i always running out of space thus no choice to put 64gb micro sd instead or 2nd sim (data sim).
But with the latest digi offer rm80 20gb i think i might not needed the 2nd data sim now .

Wow. What would happen you opted for iPhone 7? Hmm, something to ponder. I have roughly 90 apps with 32GB, without any single image and songs, and I've left with 14GB. Way no to go, if you're going for more storage space.

Yeah, last time I also own iPhone and I feel boring because every thing just work and super smooth. No need to root etc. Different with Android where I can root to get smoother UI with CM13 and also better battery life. Life with Android is more colorful and feel more techie.

Its just like a machine without soul in it. But nowadays with Android, you need to root to have smoother UI. You can have Doze and also Greenify or Package Disabler Pro to make it even smoother.

Haha. Thanks. probably, or perhaps I should trim down my apps. With Note 7, I have 138 apps roughly. And still tons of space to do photos & videos, and I do not worry of. Just getting it for the sake of Resell Value, and hop on Samsung with Note 8. I really want to have Note 8. So if any of you, would have some request to do a comparison, please feel free. I would try my best to help for you in making the best decisions.

Finally I have been able to claim from UAG. I got the Monarch Series case for my replacement phone. Good job UAG!

EDIT: For anyone who bought a Note7 case from their website, you may email them to get a replacement for another case for free. smile.gif

For Note or Android users thinking of switching over to iPhone 7/7+, I'd like to offer my experience using iPhones. I had used all the iPhone series since first model with exception of iP5S
Be prepared for a " shock" at how closed IOS is vs Androids
Here are some :

It is basically the management of files on IOS vs Android
To me is quite an important issue but could be totally unimportant to others

IOS restricts any file type to only one app and one must reassigned the same file to other apps if needed eg a PDF file if assigned to Adobe Reader cannot be read by any other apps unless I reassigned it again and that needs iTunes
Using iTunes to manage my files collection is troublesome
Unlike Android you can do practically anything on phone itself eg delete, edit file names, move, copy etc
Most files ( except video) I am unable to delete directly on phone unless to use iTunes
All files downloaded through Mail app if I assigned a certain app to open it , I must use the same app to access it again

Whatsapp : every image and video files is lumped together in one single Camera folder together with all my other photos. Deleting any images/videos on whatsapp will not delete the file and I need to manually go into camera folder to delete it and than select empty from Deleted folder

Downloading attachments on Mail app is terribly slower vs even my lowest end Android. One still need a separate app to send attachments thro Mail.

I had purchased Sandisk iXpand 64GB drive to act as external USB OTG drive but is overall a disappointing experience - file transfer speeds is so terribly slow vs Android. And the Sandisk drive isn't cheap either - last year I paid nearly RM300 for the 64GB unit. All copied files goes to a single My Downloads folder on phone and you cannot placed your files on any folder of your choice

The iPhone is overall a very good efficient phone other than these file management issues. Such files management is easily done on any Android and on the phone itself. I could easily create any folders on phone internal memory or ext SDCard and move files easily within phone itself. No need to connect the iPhone with PC to do such simple tasks

Thats why i cannot use iphone without jailbreaking it. Still have a long time to go till ios 10 is jailbroken i think. Note 7 is a wonderful phone, s-pen is very very useful when u start using it often. Too bad samseng messed up everything this time. No matter how good the phone is in the future, dont think I will ever go back to samsung. Its simple, phone doesnt meant to explode, theres something really wrong with their R+D and quality control, even the worse brand in smartphone wont come out with this mess. Its a waste of time having to go through all the fuss of returning the phone twice.

thanks uncle benny.
this actually the 1 of major reasons holding me back from getting I7plus.
I mean i know how great the OS efficient etc. new dual camera with portrait mode does attract me alots (I like taking lots of photos)
but comes to itune and app management... does feel not that simple and convenient.

Last but not least, extra RM1420 for I7plus 128gb, really not worth the money in my mind (personal opinion and above my personal budget)
cry.gif

waiting T&L HK release V20 and will give LG a try. (Hope they price agak agak RM2699 like that)
though I heard lots of people complain G4 and V10 bootloop issue ( I suspect snapdragon 808 issue), but some still mention even new G5 with S820 also having bootloop issue.
Just hope LG did discover problem on previous bootloop in G4 and V10 and manage to sort out and fix on V20.
Can't bear if V20 bootloop after 1year warranty, then another few hundred/thousand buck to fix the motherboard etc.
Then the total cost will be phone price + repair cost. (might peak RM3k~RM4k) cry.gif

All these keep spinning in my head for few days . Dilemma I7plus and V20. rclxub.gif
hahahahahaha

file management is the least of cubone's concern when choosing a system.
security, user-friendliness, speed are more important factors.

besides ios apps are more accomplished.

Disagree, file management really matter, just like old time sony mp3 that must transfer music files thru sony software. It has been beaten by the open file management of other mp3 manufacturer and forced to follow the big trend....

I would said u are die hard fruit fans as well for ignorance of the fussy iTunes .....by the way, since i own android phone i seldom on my cpu as my android phone even a llow budget spare phone can serve like a cpu, download movie and music ,reply email, social apps, notes and etc....the only time i need on my cpu is when i wanna flash my phone.
