The whole Note 7 fiasco has create a lot of hassle to me. The time i spent for backup, recall, restore, backup again, refund again.
I will consider longer before buying any Samsung product right now. They make good products, excellent products that stand out in the market, but the quality is not there. Have to purchase extra warranty, just in case you know.

now i keep my note 7 power off when i was not around at home.....only power on it when i was at home.

The instruction on the plane screen to power off has been there since the 1st recall.
It is yet to be updated.

When I checked in on Cathay on 16th Oct, I was specifically ask whether I have a Note 7.
Was informed that one cannot take it on board.
Plus when you enter departure immigration at HK airport, there are signage banning Note 7.
Of course there are bound to be lapses where they are unable to recognize the Note 7 on screening.
And some hero can get it on board.
