obviously due to updates and patches, hence most people would prefer snapdragon chipset.. even tho it's out of life support by official manufacturer, but community dev still got support ...
hence you can see even older snapdragon phones still can run android mm, lol..ported obviously.

anyone face issue with video call quality ?

im frequent line video call user. however, i noticed the video call quality within app is very poor compare to if i use the camera function.

compared with my another phone. both the camera function and app video call quality should be the same

erm,i' m not sure why,i tried to lock it to 4G only.
but after a while it will go back to the previous setting.
It will not affect call in call out as i know.

i tried call myself use another phone after set it to LTE only......it direct me to voicemail

You can't receive a call on LTE only unless your carrier had VoLTE.

as previous posters mentioned, so far the native VoLTE telco is yes 4G. the rest still relies on 2G or 3G connection. DiGi have VoLTE a while back but still in testing phase (last year afaik).

Guys. I started noticing my redmi note 3 has scroll lag issue in chrome. Previously very smooth. Now even browsing lowyat forum got lag. Anyone experience this? Any fix? Im running latest global rom version

try clear all data for your chrome apps. It's under manage space in chrome installed apps.

4G always consume battery a lot in real

Previously I can't wait official un BL way and used unofficial way.

Yesterday auto update and rebooted. Now, cant be restarted and just seen MI logo...

so it is bricked?

You used unofficial way to perform what? Install root/xposed/etc?

It's just a software issue, can be recovered easily.
