I'm surprised that such a basic issue is not given much attention. Calling is primary feature of the phone. I'm on MIUI 8.0.5.0 stable build. I faced this issue 7~8 times today. The person I called can't hear anything from me and neither can I hear anything from the other side. Call gets connected and that's it no voice from both ends. Does any one face the same problem as me? 

Hi, I just purchased a redmi note 3 from a Sony Centre and they claimed it is a Malaysia Set and they sold it to me at official malaysia set of RM849.

when i got back home i just realised it comes with a two pin power adapter instead of a three pin. so I verified the IMEI in mi website and i got this message.

H3B CMCU 全球欧规电商版 (1.8G 3G 32G 灰色)
literally translate to Global Euro Version.

So i guess this is not malaysia set? if it is not then can i ask for exchange or complain to the sony HQ?
still can claim waranty from Malaysia service center?

You sacrifice TD-SCDMA, CDMA and LTE band 38,39,41 for LTE band 20, 28.

Got a lot to lose as phone heavier and phone bigger too. Those extra bands have no use here in Malaysia. I got one of these Kate too, return it back.

Note 3 should not be considered at all as price is not much different than the Pro variant.

It's just between Note 3 Pro 16/32GB or Note 4 16/64GB.

For average Joe person and has more budget, I'd say Note 4 64GB. Better built, more storage and better screen & camera (subjective...). But, you ain't get proper software update and warranty from seller is hit and miss.

For average Joe person in tight budget and intend to use the phone for more than 12 months, get the Note 3 Pro 16/32GB. Get from proper Xiaomi Malaysia distributors to ensure solid supports in hardware and software.

For tech-savvy person, Note 3 Pro 32GB Imported variant is more appropriate. Cheapest and more custom ROMs and tweaks till you heart's contents.

anyway for rom support...obvious would be snapdragon than mediatek..as mediatek never release any of their kernel sources.

yeh i drop it many times too.. but this phone is so strong ... only chrome area a bit dent

really? this phone is my girlfriend's, not mine me myself using mi5 prime. she told me this few days the upper part of the screen (from the top of the phone until below status bar by a bit) started to heat up a lot, like really hot. zz i dont know she tends to drop it or what but the problem is a bit impossible to be caused by dropping

Bricked. My friend passed to outside did and I suspected thr hardware was changed .

Battery also got issue and always got this -2>% low battery notification.

And when charge, always  the same level -2>% and never get to 100%.

If unplug, also same but phone can tahan without power off.

Apa hal nya

It had a few issues I posted here earlier regarding it. For example, the proximity sensor would stop working at times and sometimes the fingerprint wouldn't work and the worst one is when my phone's screen wouldn't turn on after the call ends and I have to press the power button twice to make it work.

Just wondering is Xiaomi going to release 6.0 for RN3, i can wait..

But my Mi Pad 1 still stuck with Kit kat
