Previously I can't wait official un BL way and used unofficial way.

Yesterday auto update and rebooted. Now, cant be restarted and just seen MI logo...

so it is bricked?

unlocked BL and then rooted...

the phone is not with me as I passed to someone else.

Can outside phone repairer is able to format it using normal way to resolve?

actually if unlocked unofficially and update the phone will brick... rooting doesn't

unlock unofficially
- need to replace mbn file each ota/full update
- forgot to replace will brick the phone.

unlock officially
- just use alka twrp to flash miui update or ota

and of coz anyone unlocked bl officially i'd recommend to flash miui eu rom

probably in his case .he unlocked unofficially and flashed ota without mod the mbn file.

my recommendation just unlock officially

Hi everyone. Just to share my problem to find solution.

My phone is Redmi Note 3 32GB 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 650 CPU.
Now i'm using MIUI8 8.0.6.0 Stable.  My phone works fine for the past 6 month without any problem.

But since last week I do have a major problem and i’m quite worried. It happen even before the OTA latest update for Malaysia.
The notification LED is blinking but I was unable to unlock/wake up the phone using fingerprint or the power button.
The phone just become unresponsive. Can’t wake up, can’t unlock and nothing displayed on the screen. But during the phone being unresponsive, I can feel the heat at the back cover. When I try to call my redmi note 3 from another phone, It was ringing! but no display on the screen.

Every time this problem happen, I have to hold the power button for 10 sec to restart. It took few minutes to restart but when i open back the phone, there will be no records of missed call or anything. for me this is a serious problem and I will missed an important call without any notification... It will happen at least twice a day and I'm not happy about this.

Any solution guys? Anyone else having the same problem? Any solution that anyone would like to recommend?

ok guys. got a big problem.

i recently change telco from u mobile to digi and had trouble receiving the TAC code

called the bank and they said they have updated on their end.

so today i tried changing phone and I GOT THE TAC NO

so the problem is with the phone, not on their end

when i change back to redmi note 3, I AM UNABLE TO RECEIVE THE TAC

please anyone know how to help me solve this?
previously i receive the TAC just  fine using this phone on umobile

what are u talking about. why bank need to update he change  telco not number.

He already said that its all because of the setting in message, not related to bank.
