actually if you are worried about annual fees, you should cancel it instead of leaving it unactivated.

if uob doesn't waive the annual fee next year, then you can always just cancel it. don't have to worry, just try not to forget i guess..

however, i do propose you to activate both.

for petrol: uob one
for dining/online: uob yolo

just beware of the t&c related to the 2 cards in obtaining cash rebate.

my uob got 2nd year annual fee waived, 3rd year didn't try to cancel due to i earn more cb from petrol compare to annual fee....

the yolo is 1st year annual fee waive, so next year just cancel if u doesn't like it.
for me, if the cb earn from yolo cant cover annual fee, i sure call cs to cancel and wait for retention department to call me devil.gif devil.gif devil.gif

No TAC required during booking as the card was not charged at that moment I assume.

just got my last CB from VOX, majority decides to move to YOLO? Hmm no news from the bank to auto convert my VOX to YOLO.

Is it relevant to keep One & VOX (discontinued), where I already own CIMB CR + MBB Ikhwan + HSBC Mpower + HLB Mach + MBB2Card? I do not have outstanding balances for most of the cards except MBB. I would want to strive to have good track record with BNM, can any senior advises me?

Rejected by CS or retention department? Usually CS will say no and proceed with cancellation and retention department will call to "retain" you. laugh.gif

YOLO users, you may call UOB tomorrow. If I have spent in Sept , I will be gladly to call them to check out but I didn't spend anything... So can't help this time. sad.gif

Anyone still have the old vox tnc ?
Uob site hosting the new tnc which has no cashback now.

I remember vox mentioned utilities bill as cashback exclusion but not "bill payment"

But for yolo tnc, it clearly stated both "utilities bill" and "bill payment" as cashback exclusion.

called customer service ystdy nite about my vox cancellation...the staff just said she will help me transfer the cash back and waive admin fee manually...not sure what she means...
seems like first time call to cancel the card is not effective...
