I hold UOB One card for since 2011. First yr AF free, 2nd year call to cancel as they offer to waive AF, but need to pay RM50 government tax. Receive SMS to ask whether I wan to retain if they waive AF n the government tax with min 1 swipe. Continue using the card. 3rd year, call up b4 AF + tax and they also not allow n I ask for cancellation. Again, receive the SMS to retain. 4th year, call up n they said they d waive my AF for 3 years. But I still call every year to ensure the 3 years waiver is confirm. I think after this 3 years waiver, I will not be that lucky anymore.

I also receive my Sep 5% VOX cashback today. Yet to call them to transfer my cashback. Will call tml.

My progress for VOX:
28/10: Email to UOB to request transfer of credit to ONE card and cancellation
31/10: acknowledged receipt email
1/11: received call from UOB to confirm my request. CS mentioned will assist to transfer and block my VOX card immediately for cancellation. She said she transfer today, tomorrow will be able to c the credit transferred.

2/11: credit transferred to ONE card and my VOX card disappear in online banking.

Hi, do u all have update on payment made through UOB Payonline? I still didn't receive any email notification on the payment status for payment made on 14 Nov morning... I don't know whether I should repay... I paid via YOLO... I doesn't want that to be double payment to my TNB bill later if I repay... I call to UOB to check, but, CS said not successful coz it can't c any authorise transaction on my YOLO card... but, the problem is, UOB will only charge after they "Approved" my payment at payonline... So, the CS word doesn't sound reliable to me... icon_question.gif

Ya, that is what my worries too... so, when the CS told me nothing floating on my card, i told the CS if Payonline didnt process my payment, it wont have floating charges based on my past experience.. my credit card will not shown floating charges until I receive the email on my payment is approved... then, i told the CS, get the Payonline team to send me an email confirmation whether it is approved or not, i need black n white as I dont wan to double pay my TNB bill... maybe after i complain n log case only they look into their system n send out the email confirmation... sweat.gif

I don rmb this is based on first come first serve.. as I know u need to register via SMS.. I received the below SMS confirmation after registration, I guess this is within 60 or 45 days of my YOLO approval date.. I start using YOLO only on 8 Nov and fulfilled my 3 times swipe on 11 Nov..

I've received campaign cashback today at my YOLO card as below:

26 November 2016 26 November 2016 CAMPAIGN CASH CREDIT 29.17CR

But, I dunno what is this for.. as i just started to use YOLO on 8 November, shouldn't be the 6% cashback...

Lost or stolen, they will still replace one new one for you, so still active.
For cancellation, usually retention department will call, that's why it won't be immediately canceled.

I found out d.. it is dining promo at absolute Thai that I swipe in October.. but weird is I swipe using UOB one card.. but, they credit the cash back to YOLO..
