I would say it is the terminal no enforce for the PIN. Staff cannot choose to skip if terminal already enfore the PIN to be use.

i see..maybe thats the case..lol

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 21 2016, 03:41 PM)
Not lazy, it is not required by McD's most probably. smile.gif
*
aiyoh i already fitnah the mcd staff...later kena charge for slander..lol

but very convenient i must say especially if drive thru..hehe

QUOTE(cwtien @ Dec 21 2016, 04:07 PM)
For Visa Paywave, only RM250 and above will ask for PIN.

See link: http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards

So now you know why McD Paywave will never ask for PIN...unless...you eat > RM250 worth of McD????

i dont think mcd will enforce paywave..or are they implementing it?

For contactless payment, McD terminals support Visa paywave only, they don't support Mastercard paypass.

Yes but no TP at least for utilities.

Already reported in CIMB thread, someone finally can use MasterCard contactless payment on McD's terminal.

So if no TP, might as well just use online banking to pay the bills?

I quoted from CIMB thread and it was just reported recently or I misunderstood the meaning of using it in McD‘s? Not sure.
I have not tried before because I won't waste my cash back, I'm better off using Visa HLB MACH or AmEx during weekends.

Well, you can apply other cards which give cash back.
If pay with CC, you can play with free 20-day interest period.

for example your statement at 8th of a month, your due date will be 28th of the current month
If you swipe at 7th, which fall on current statement, you will need to pay that by 28th, so you have up to 20 days to make the payment.

if you swipe at 9th, which will fall into next statement, you have up to 30+ 20 days to make the payments.

You can then earn daily interest from some high gain saving acc or from mbb GIA account within this period
