Since it is free for lifetime, I just keep it for the following:-

1) discount and promo with certain merchant like 11 street, lazada and some dining place like bubba gump
2) BT promo at 0% 12 months
3) if there is any dining during weekend and the dining place accept amex

I also have MACH for dining too though I seldom use my M2Cards these days but I still keep it especially now suddenly feel its convenience for 0% BT and the 5xTP still somehow useful for me for stuff which I cannot get cash back from other cards. laugh.gif

true,

keeping it for company claim purpose which only accept amex.
Refused company card because own card can collect points and don't mind the claiming procedure hassle

another keeping value is probably some unrelated sentimental value since it was my first credit card biggrin.gif

Do note that the green card is a charge card. So you'll need to do a full settlement every month.

How many cards you carrying now? If your annual income is below RM36k, max is 2 cards from 2 banks.

My first card is green Amex card. Looks nice on your wallet or purse. I cancelled it eventually coz not many places accept Amex then.

You should apply for cards that matches your spending pattern or categories.

No limit of card so long it is from two issuing banks. However, I'm not sure if charge card will be calculated separately and not under the same as Maybank's conventional cards. Just like Maybank Islamic and Maybank conventional are considered separately.

How about credit limit? Lets say I already have card from maybank conventional, if I apply Maybank islamic card, will the credit limit be shared between 2 cards?
