Most of the banks have chosen this option, easier to maintain.

It also depends your area's Poslaju guys.. My hometown Poslaju is also very responsible and must ensure someone at home only will deliver. Anyway, I called and asked them to mail drop for me after I ensure nothing will happen... laugh.gif

Situation:

My credit limit is RM9,000. I spent more than my credit limit now. But I keep pay to make sure that my outstanding balance less than 9k (This month bought 2 units iPhone7 Plus). I will be charged by bank due to over limit? Or as long as I make sure the the outstanding date is less than credit limit when come to statement date?

some banks charge a fee for over limit spent, some don't.

what do you mean by 'make sure the the outstanding date is less than credit limit when come to statement date'?

where do you see the 6K credit limit?

if in M2U, there's no direct way to see the available CL in realtime.

try calling CS to find out actual available CL.

also, for the installment, just pay according to the statement amount.

the minimum pay is the threshold you must pay in order to avoid hefty interest.
you are advised to pay the statement balance, not the minimum payment.

ok thanks for you reply biggrin.gif
another question. If the total outstanding included other expenses. For example, total outstanding is RM500, RM200 is ikea and RM300 is other expenses. Can i pay RM300 only first?

yes, you can, if your intention is to increase the available credit.
however, please pay the remaining balance before statement due date to avoid interest.

Minimum payment is the required amount for the bank not to mark your account is being delinquent. It has nothing to do with avoidance of finance charges.
