Hi guys. I'm on postpaid 110 plan. For weekend if I enable hotspot, will it deduct from my weekend or all day internet?

QUOTE(Zaryl @ Dec 18 2016, 08:54 PM) hahaha i already kena once by Digi on my BB100 plan. Pay Rm5 for 3GB VoIP calls. Some other people said that this issue has been resolved.Speed throttled down to 300kbps only and if watch youtube, the data is consumed from that also. But unsure if Digi has rectified this problem or not. |

when i first signed up, i was having issue with 4G but 3G was fine and getting consistent 6-8Mbps and over. I was going to drop it since the Free 4G data doesn't benefit me but right now they are letting 3G into free weekend data so it's all good. If you are fine with 3G in your area, try turn off 4G and see it works for you. I just used ~40GB of free weekend data in 3G in couple days - can't complaint when the other option is piece of crappy 8Mbps streamyx operates at 2M-4Mbps actual download speed. In contrast, Digi actual download speed gets me around 6Mbps-15Mbps with 3G.

LTE won't work on my Google Pixel. Upon checking my phone does support band 3 & 7, and it is definitely a LTE enabled-original uncut sim card.
APN setting was set automatically. How do I go about this? |

QUOTE(b0rhui @ Dec 19 2016, 06:59 PM) APN current setting: Have you tried the suggestions on this Google Pixel Support Community Page?diginet, everything else not set, MCC 502 MNC 16, APN & roaming protocol IPV4, MVNO none https://productforums.google.com/forum/#...gle/OxkJ1Sn6i5c QUOTE Go to your dialer, type *#*#4636#*#* and it will take you to a screen with 3 options. Choose Phone Info. On the Phone Info screen, change "Set Preferred Network Type" to Global auto (PRL). Scroll down to Cellular Radio Power, turn it off, then turn it back on. |

QUOTE(tympg @ Dec 19 2016, 07:25 PM) Have you tried the suggestions on this Google Pixel Support Community Page? I tried switching to global PRL. It stays at H so I switched to some options with LTE instead. LTE worked but calls won't go through now https://productforums.google.com/forum/#...gle/OxkJ1Sn6i5c EDIT: it appears that "WCDMA preferred" was selected despite i specified global auto. I know because once performed the change I perform the same steps again and it show "WCDMA preferred". How do force select "global auto PRL"? Inserted Macis sim and got LTE almost instantaneously This post has been edited by b0rhui: Dec 20 2016, 01:12 AM |
