The 4G signal did not drop. Thus you are using VoLTE. To get best voice call quality, call Digi to Digi both must have VoLTE.

If VoLTE was shown. Then all calls will using LTE (4G) network. For mine, 0162211800 cannot call on VoLTE.

Nope. Only Digi have it.

Location?

It is subjective to say Digi coverage is good. But so far most of the areas I have visited are good.
You may refer to this website to check whehter your area is good or not.

It is better to buy a prepaid SIM pack to try the signal at your preferred areas.

Erm, depends on location, My testing result so far.

Puchong - bandar puteri bank areas bad, the rest all good @4G.
Sri petaling - All good @ 4G
Subang jaya - All good @ 4G except certain areas within malay village
PJ - All good @ 4G
Damansara - All good @ 4G
Ipoh main town - 4G manyak bagus
Penang - 4G only within penang bridge and georgetown certain areas, experience is terrible - signals on and off
JB town - 4G @ skudai, other areas havent test out

Digi signal is overall bad in the toilet areas, so if you wanna poop while using your phone, definitely digi is not for u lol

for location, varies. because due to the nature of my work, I do travel a lot. but mostly west malaysia area.

for some reason, I dont trust the coverage map..not sure with Digi but when I used the Umobile before, one area got 4G but no data transfer at all. mostly at crowded place. I dont want that. But a few of my friends which travel a lot around KL and Nilai area, says the coverage is good.

this phone i put digi sp48 sim.

U activated VoLTE on the sim card before by putting it into an iPhone? Or you can get VoLTE directly?

I ported in last week to Digi Postpaid and I already got the SMS telling me Vo-LTE is activated. This is despite the fact that my phone is a Galaxy S4.

I didn't receive any message to activate this process when I am on iPhone or after I am on Android. Maybe like u said.it maybe already automatically activated for me when I am on iPhone
