Finally got my OBD2 interface, it has been in the post office since 21/5 .. Pos Laju had delivered something on the same date and I thought the notification I received has to do with it .. just realised today that they numbers were different, so off me went to the delivery office and wallah.. its there.. had problem with the driver which comes in the cd, downloaded the latest one from the net and all went well. Centrafuse could get the reading now .. but I need to fix the com port assignment, it all went crazy now when I added gps under bluetooth.. grrr..

Added on June 2, 2010, 11:45 amOn the centrafuse, you can test it for 30 days, if you like it, pay for it.. otherwise ride runner is free ..

Added on June 2, 2010, 11:58 amThe URL given by steven was wrong, it should be http://www.fluxmedia.net and not .com ..

errmm, can't discuss any woohooo stuff here, but if you are looking harder, you might find the older version somewhere on the net.

steven got his from local supplier but mine totally sourced from ebay. if you're building yourself from scratch, you may want to buy the power supply and the touch screen from ebay .. but you could get a mitx casing from garage-sales forum, the same goes to the motherboard too.

Sorry, centrafuse and ride runner can only run on normal windows, not ce .. it has been tested on XP, Vista and 7 IINW. On OBD as Steven said, if you own Proton, you're out of luck, you may need to find one that work with your car. As for mine, it is just simply installing the driver, plug the OBD interface to the car.. and I can read whatever data sent by the ECU. Since my car is a diesel one, some of the information are not available on Centrafuse. I may need to get a different software to be able to read all. Probably need to spend another US$50 for a sofware after this.

Yo bro, if you need any OBD software! just let me know... i still had a bunch of them hahaha..

Proton and Perodua owners just can forget about reading the OBD coz they are not standard as it should.

Centrafuse got built-in OBD mah, if you want more status... just enter the Protocol address at the advance settings.

The LCD i bought about 9XX last time and i think now is cheaper should be 7XX to 8XX..

Centrafuse cant be duplicate, once you formatted ur PC you need to send an email and request another licence and Flux Media normally will question u.
Centrafuse is not that expensive mah.... it is worth to buy!

Ok, uploaded mine to youtube already:

On the licence, yup, but they're very helpful. I installed on my carpc and updated the BIOS and that changes everything including the win xp validation too and caused me to ask fluxmedia to reset it.
