You won't get rebate if your transaction description is "TNG EWALLET" (new description since March). Don't know how to avoid it yet.

If you can spend RM1000 somewhere else then don't waste to spend on Astro/TM which Amex or some e-wallets will give at least 5% rebate. To maximise rebates earned from various sources.

The latest campaign (ended 30/4 but now extended to */5) doesn't specify clearly.
The previous one (1 month ago) max RM5 rebate/day, but the rebate is separated from wallet credit, so effective rebate is around 9% (eg pay RM50: RM45 credit + RM5 rebate -> rebate RM4.50).
Shopee bill payment (-25% with Shopee Coins + discount/rebate occasionally)
Bill payment @ TNG wallet may give discount voucher.

Spent RM2500 in April and got full CB RM50.
No rebate for ewallet transactions.

I used to get full CB almost every month as well since 2/2011 (Amex) and 10/2017 (FCB VS). But difficult to achieve now as other credit cards and e-wallets are giving better rewards/rebates.

If transaction in the morning-afternoon, it will be posted today.
Try 11:30pm, I am not sure about the cut-off time, agak agak at 8pm. At your own risk. I noticed a minor change at ShopeePay since 1/5, not sure any change on Shopee transaction.

But it doesn't matter the transaction is posted in this statement or next statement, the cashback % is still 10% and will be credited on 1/6/2020.

If transaction date is 2/5, CB 10%.

For some transactions, you can just give your credit card details, then the merchant will charge when it is due or goods/service is delivered, eg Insurance premium. (direct debit)

You need to make sure your transaction is debited on 2/5 (transaction in May), not debit full amount in April first and credit (adjustment / partial refund as not all the items are delivered).

I did receive campaign CB (18%) last year. Pay only +1.5% surcharge (occasionally waived) using Revpay instead of +3% surcharge if using a credit card to pay.

Both Transaction date and posting day in April? If yes the CB shall be credited on 1/5.
