Hi if got refund to the cc but no spending, the cb will be negative or 0?

Just read your post on refunds as i had the same issue. How did yours go?

I bought something rm600 in April and got credited rm12 on may 1st.
However, i return the item for a refund. Refund was credited ard 10th May and i assumed *big mistake on my part* that May rm100 cashback i'm eligible for will be 100-12= rm88.

Turns out they seem to calculate the refund as a deduction of my May transactions. So for my case, with the refund credited in May, i owed Maybank RM60 instead of RM12 which i assumed earlier  .
I spent more than 1k in May but only received RM70+ for cashback. Did not utlise the cb fully.   
I haven't contacted Maybank to clairfy but the amount i calculated is pretty close to the one i explained. Would be great if someone could confirm this is correct. 

Would like to ask why would people buy this serivce for?

just received news this morning that my application has been rejected. don't know why...

- existing cc owner with mbb
- good ccris record for few years (since cc application)
- always pay to card on time
- fulfilled income requirement for this card

still pending reply from bank. will make the call when I'm free. will update here if any good news.

1. Is it entitle cash back?
2. If there is more than RM 1k (since Aug max cash back is RM100), can I pay the balance amount using other credit card?

Thanks for answering. Sorry a bit out of this thread topic. Yes, I would like to pay RM 1k at Great Eastern website epay using Barcelona next month, and balance amount using other credit card. I just called CS, some of them told me not possible to split the payment, some informed okay to split the payment.

The extra payment (advanced payment) will go to "suspended account" that will be used for unit trust investment. It will be automatically transferred to premium account on the date of premium charges.

Yeah. also can consider PBB Quantum Master Card contactless 5% RM30 monthly monthly cap & Affin Bank VS contactless trx 3% RM80 monthly cap. it should be quite easy to hit since we can use wave & hit for trx > RM250.

Damn. Ahahahah i just got my barcelona today. If i never activate the card and just cancel it. And apply the new shopee card in near future, will i still be considered as ‘new to bank’
